Hello all

I've always pondered about the paranormal and various possibilities within our reality.

People always talk of psychedelics and telepathy or experiences similar to it, could be just close observations via a listener and how a person is acting and their senses just being heightened to get a better judgment of what somebody

I recently quit MJ for good after a good 6 years of use though I'm still a user of other stuff here and there though my drug binging days are mostly over..

I told a friend here about my quitting weed/hash (They smoke only hash here) and he was trying to convince me otherwise, i mostly did it because i find the hash here isn't strong and only really gives me a headache/dizzy feeling, beyond that very little... and I found it stopped me from being able todo my schoolwork, plus its mostly as a promise to my mother because she really dislikes the stuff, and weed is the only thing she and my dad can tell when I actually use...

besides that, i've met many many people who've told me, and believe that THC helps connect peoples minds, its like the key to in a sense, telepathy or feeling the energies between people.

The dude also ended it on a note saying "If you smoke a lot of really good hash, you can actually hear what people are thinking, example, if X(my other friend) thinks Y(the one talking) is a bad person, Y will hear it and know"

I met many Afghans with this 'ability' in a sense, its a normal thing in this society because I honestly believe the people here smoke the most amount of hashish in the world haha

thoughts, opinions?

I've had this sort of thing happen while on LSD, mushrooms, after smoking herb, and while sober. I guess I'm very good at reading people's body language too?

I think that when you high your brain is more active to notice signs of how people show their mood, how they act, how they think etc...

I dunno, weeds lost its touch for me, I like psychs as well as some party drugs but thats it nowadays

as for where I am, yes, and literally everyone smokes it here haha.. no budd tho

i'm not sure about telepathy but for me weed heightens my senses and makes me more observant and therefore able to read peoples body language better.

this is especially true with people that i know well such as family members. for example, and this may sound strange, my girlfriend can be in a really bad mood and me not know it but, when i walk in the room i can tell immediately by looking at her. which most people can do sober. now here is the strange part, when i get really stoned and she is in one of those moods it seems as if i can literally feel her negative energy/hatred beaming around her when i get close. the feeling is very strong at times to. i'm just like "damn, is she about to snap the F*** out or what?". it can be very unnerving.

i should add that i have experienced this with other family members also. my siblings and father the most. but that was when we lived together when i was younger.

Well I personally don't believe in telepathy full stop. I'm open to being persuaded otherwise, however I doubt weed has this effect on people. I think it's far more likely to make a person 'think' they're telepathic but that's all.

This is just my opinion.

I think telepathy and a person's ability to be intuitive are two very different things and shouldn't be confused. Intuition might come easier to people whilst they're relaxed while high but I don't think this is a paranormal phenomenon. I just think it's a purely social one.

Here's an idea.

You get really fuckin' stoned with a friend. All pretext and poise and superego are thrown out the window because of how baked you are. So you both show your emotions more and give more emotional cues without realizing it because your defenses are down and you're too high to realize. So you subconsciously react to the other person's exaggerated body language, and infer things that you wouldn't normally.

LSD, on the other hand...
