That wasn't LSD, was it? (Pls help me find out)

So I dropped LSD for the first time...and I think it wasn't LSD. I hope you guys can help me find out.

I had two Tabs, according to the guy they had 100-110ug each. I never did LSD before, so I started with one, dropped a second one at the 3 hour mark.

The come-up was long. I had the first effects after 90 minutes. The thing is, it wasn't very trippy. Actually, not trippy at all. I felt a little weird, a bit naseaus, had visuals like on 2C-B (lights and patterns and stuff) some giggles...but I wasn't spacing out or anything. I actually felt sober. No weird thoughts, zero euphoria, nothing big. Reminded me of 2CB a lot.

Could it have been LSD, or more likely some other psych? Maybe nBOM?

They don't allow ID threads because we can't tell you what you took, but if it had a burning sensation or taste it wasn't LSD
 
But even if those were the weakest Tabs ever...shouldn't I have had different effects? The visuals were there, they weren't that weak. But I did not feel trippy at all. It didn't go deep....like "the core" was untouched if anyone understands what I mean. Even small amounts of shrooms felt way trippier.
 
Well, I know no one can tell for sure what it was...but I was thinking you guys could just give me your opinions.

With everything I heard about LSD, I feel like it's impossible to not have tripped at all, even if those Tabs were weak. With LSD I expect something mind blowing. Not walking through town, feeling fucked and focusing on lights just to chase those visuals.


Only way to find out is to try again from a different source I guess.
 
There's a good chance your blotters just were a lower-dose, what you describe certainly reminds me of when I underdose. When you drop a second one 3 hours in it'll just prolong whatever you were experiencing due to rapid tolerance, so that's why your trip didn't intensify. If you're really unsure then I would get an Ehrlich reagent test, but I'd just try 2 of those if I were you.

Taste is never good for IDing, and LSD certainly isn't tasteless like some say. Just not as extreme as an NBOMe or DOx, but you can feel that you have something in your mouth at the very least.
 
well ok, low dose seems to be an option...Iguess thats why the guy told me to take two tabs at once, even if it was my first time. he must have known they were weak. I'll change my supplier.

Real quick question; did you swallow the tabs right away or hold them between cheek/lip and gum? I'm more than willing to stand corrected since I haven't and do not intend on trying Nbome's, but they are poorly active (if at all) orally. You are getting an opinion; 2 people above me have said really weak/low LSD and 2 have said not LSD. That is an opinion, even if it's not the one you want.

As suggested above, a reagent test should help you. And unless you don't mind trying an Nbome, swallow the tabs immediately.

Really though, with the information given there is no way of telling.

the long come up.....coupled with getting visuals but feeling sober points directly to 25I NBOMe. Acid hits quickly, under and hour.....nbome, you don't feel much for an hour then start feeling a little something that slooooooowly rises to a peak at the 2-3 hour mark. slight stimulations minor physical euphoria but not much going on in in the mental aspect....sound like nbome....also the visuals from acid will be very similar to mushrooms (not color wise, but texture/pattern wise)...nbome's visuals are a bit less organic, but great nonethe less
 
A good way to differentiate Nbome and acid is eating. If you haven't eaten in awhile on Nbome, you'll still get hungry (although being hungry or eating both suck while you're tripping).

I'm not trying to be rude, but you can't tell the difference between the nbome and LSD? That makes me so sad.
 
This sounds similar to the first trip I took acid (dosed 1 tab and then a second two hours later). The stuff was definitely acid, just weak, and I had a stronger trip on the same tabs the second time around by taking more
 
Actually sounds a lot like LSZ, but that's pretty costly. It's possible somebody bought powder form LSZ and made their own blotters or tablets, whichever it was. I wouldn't think there'd be much money in it though unless they charged a fairly high amount for them. LSZ does take about 90 minutes to feel and does cause some nausea and isn't very trippy or euphoric. The only other thing I can think of would be TCB-2, but that's not widely available.

We don't know that it was acid.
So many different psychedelics can have very similar effects.
If you just swallowed the tabs and you got high that rules out NBOMe, but not any from the DOx series.
This is just speculation we can't help you.
If you really wanna know next time buy ehrlichs reagent, it can test for the presence of an indole which will tell you that it is a tryptamine.
The tests are much more expensive than say reagents for MDxx but if you really wanna know I'm sure you could justify spending the money
 
The NBOMe series has been increasingly popular as an LSD substitute for some time now. Unscrupulous dealers will often pass it off as LSD and while it is similar, it is also much cheaper and destroyed by the digestive tract.

Unfortunately there is no way for us to know for sure and as a result we don't allow substance ID threads.

If you want to know, you'll need to buy a test kit, which can be bought from organisations like EZtest, Dancesafe and the Bunk Police.

Less common substances will require analytical testing, provided by the likes of ecstasydata, Energy Control and others.
