That is horrible, and I can't imagine what that would be like. I made a decision long ago about not having kids or ever really wanting to be married.

I really don't trust big government to begin with. I am not sure how I would handle myself in that situation. I mean I might lose it, completely, or shrug my shoulders. But with my temperament, it could turn really ugly.

Sorry that you and of course your child had to deal with it. It is disgusting that some people will try to get revenge by using their child or children as a weapon against their ex.

It is though she seems splitted, my kids love me. Guess thats my luck, never put my frustration on them, just tried to stick around and be a dad (an almost dead one in this torturing situation).

So she is kinda in a split. War with the Dad of our kids so just going on my past experiences with her its like a wave.
Sometimes I am up sometimes down (from her point of view I guess), bit of a borderline like feature.
But in one on one talks, yeah their used as weapons, but the remarks are subtle and placed randomly in conversations, and hurt. And there know way to know what the info is worth? Is it made up, or words from them she slightly reverbed?

She definetily makes em lie to me (a.o instructing them not to talk about her dates), which is a absolute no-no in all books. And keeps important info about them from me (playing dummy/ a manipulative tactic), so I only have a hint of whats really going one. Like hospital visits or problems with that stupid school.
While from the both I definetely the better one in these field, from filling in tax papers to pointing headmasters and public edducation law respresentatives on their resposeability's. Know my rights and use the law. Although today the last one doesnt mean shit anymore.

legalized pot, yeah that would be a nice start. Except medical use, its still illegal here and using it openly instead of and discreed.

Delivers you another stigma, pothead/ blower/ addict, bad example for your kids. And Alcohol consumption among kids is tolerated, though illegal. World upside down right.

Word fights are a feature of it, inc manipulative tactics and using intimacy as weapon.
So in short Psychological and/ or emotional abuse, equal or worse then Physical abuse. Are not known or reckognized. Its not in the DSM so Mental healthcare don't even deal with behaverioral disorders.

Its more prevalent in woman, and caused by bad youth. My ex fitted the picture perfect in hindsight. But if you want me to stop. I will, just say so. Ment no disrespect.

Clear answer, wont bother you with info which imo would be beneficial in your situation. I am not smart or a smart-ass, this is just a compilation of knowledge from school/ internet sources/ experience that was shared on this subject on i-net. Take it or leave it, using it to dump some of your frustration. Your not a kid anymore.
