Texas rave leaves one dead, dozens in hospital

Talked to my friend tonight. It was her boyfriend who died that the media associated with the Rave. However, it really had nothing to do with the rave or Ecstasy.

He had just started experimenting with black tar Heroin. I do not know the route of administration, but I don't think he was shooting it, as he complained he was not getting the high he was supposed to get and kept going back to get more. Apparently he got enough to OD on however he was doing it.

Didn't get much more out of the sobbing girlfriend tonight.

I read on the flyers for EDC Vegas that the event didn't even start until about 8 or so in the evening, well after the hottest part of the day had passed. Great idea, IMO; probably saved quite a few people.

I certainly hope your wrong. I have had some exceptional "molly" this year. I put quotes around molly for the simple fact that its a term, not chemical...maybe even slang term. The "molly" i have gotten has got to be top 3 most pure MDMA batches ive ever came in contact with. Im going to All Good next week so i hope noone has figured this out. Also, what do the dealers that sell crap, or bunk shit do when they go to a drug dealer vacation festival where the dealers are there to enjoy the scene, not "work?" Is the same amount of bunk shit likely to be around? or are they more likely to bring shit that they would use themselves?
 
While ecstasy (MDMA) can certainly cause overheating/dehydration, it's rarely the sole cause of death in cases like this. We should all flood websites that post stories like these and set them straight. Most of us know this kind of reporting is inaccurate, but mainstream America is very influenced by their BS.

People will always use drugs, some will even die. The solution is better drug education combined with smarter drug control policies that regulate drugs for potency, dose, purity and quality. NOT more media scare stories that offer no solutions other than "Just say no."

That's so tragic. Hopefully she'll slowly recover. A similar thing happened to me (dirty pills). I developed severe brain fog and chronic heart palpitations and it took several months for me to feel normal again. What I mean by that is, with each passing week I slowly began feeling better, however, it was several months before I had no more brain fog / chronic heart palpitations. I was a fool for not ordering a testing kit. Needless to say, I now have one and I will not ingest anything before I test it and it's already spared me a couple of bad trips (BZP/TMFPP).

I agree. MDA has been VERY rare in the past few years. I have access to many wholesalers and the only person that was producing MDA messed up the synth and I his subsequent batches were MDMA.
