once cali goes full legal they could donate it to their medical system for a huge tax break =p
 
I've been thinking about this since I've read it and I can't really think of any good solution either. I wonder if you can destroy it with some kind of solvent or treat it like toxic waste.
 
The obvious realistic solution (not involving giving back what was previously confiscated; or otherwise smoking it) is to blow it up.

You use explosives to destroy it all in one go. You can destroy buildings with bombs, and the same goes for buds.
 
the best thing would be to distribute what is still usable as medicine, then compost what is molding. No need to burn anything (asides from in joints and bongs). I'll bet you many a organic growers would be stoked to use ganja compost for their vegetable gardens.

But just under two billion dollars profit is worth passing up for the good of the people, right? >.>

It would still cost money to sell the weed, as people usually don't work for free, plus packaging and transportation, so that wouldn't actually net that much. Still would result in revenue, but not as much as that. Plus selling 200,000 pounds in grams would never be feasible.

Isn't costing them money to just be holding on to that much? It'd have to be stored somewhere, which means a lot of storage space is being taken up and they're possibly paying money (taxes? I don't know if they'd pay them because it's with the state) on the land/area in which the weed is being stored.

Im guessing its mexican brick weed, now granted this is purely assumption that isnt based off much, but i got a hunch

EDIT: Brooks county is in fact in S. Texas, this makes me feel even more inclined to believe it was some shwag
 
I'm sure there's a great variety in quality. Among 200,000 pounds, I would think there would be some higher grade weed. This is 10 years worth of arrests, not a few large seizures.

Seriously, explosives are cheap (relatively). You just have to blow it up. Why doesn't anyone else respond to this idea?

It is, quite simply, the cheapest and most efficient solution.

You could use it in animal feed, it's nutritious, and MANY animals like it, but they'd probably insist on extracting the cannabinoids.

Perhaps the most useful way to dispose of it would be to extract the cannabinoids with some sort of solvent and then make fibres or paper out of the pot. Still way more expensive than just blowing it up.
 
As much as I'm all for explosions and fire - if you `explode` all that pot, you still are left with a bunch of `rubble` to dispose of. Exploding a building doesn't make it gone, it just makes smaller chunks to get rid of.
 
I would say hire people and a small hidden lowkey facility to turn all those pounds of shitty weed into bubble hash, cannabutter, cannabis cookies/brownies/other foods and drinks, and then give a variety of whats made to every cannabis club in the states.
or you could give it all to me and i could do that for ya ;]

Yeah, but that's a building. You could vapourize the pot with a sufficiently explosive event. No rubble.
