Tetanus and benzo taper

here it explains how tetanospasmin toxin blocks the gaba activity in spinal cord. imma get a tetanus shot and im tapering benzo/barbs currently so im scared as hell. im so sure that one of my seizures i had over the years is related to this shit. way back in the day once 3 days after havin the tetanus vaccine on my another taper i had a convulsion. now im so convinced that this shit may do the same. not sure what to do. i appreciate any opinion - i need to get the shot cuz i mite have infected, doc said i must get it.

A tetanus infection causes tetany, usually people have no reaction to tetanus immunizations. If you feel you have had a bad reaction to a vaccination in the past I'd bring it up to the health care provider that gives you the immunization.

Tetanus boosters are currently recommended only every ten years in adults. Does the Doc know how recently you've been immunized?

true, but aside from the every 10 year shot, doctors will give you one if theres a chance you did something (step on rusty nail, etc.) that would leave you at risk.
