Testosterone and Methadone

Not sure if this belongs in OD or here.

Anyway, I?m on methadone 110 mg/ day and it has wrecked my libido and confidence which I attribute to low testosterone ( a well-established side effect).

I finished my first cycle a couple months ago. Test e 500 mg/ week. My motivation to try was mostly to see how it changed my libido and confidence. It was great with that but the physical side effects were a bit much for me. Acne and water retention despite using arimidex.

Basically I want to do more of trt than another cycle. Any advice or experience from anyone else whose been on methadone?
 
Are you speculating that it ruined your levels or did you actually get tested?

Dose the AI higher if you are prone to those sides. I get acne bad on anadrol, like really really bad, but it's manageable on other drugs. Just treat it via prevention from day 1 and don't wait until you break out.

How fat are you?

Acne is more a side effect of increased androgen levels as opposed to estrogen, adex won't help in your case..

Expect water retention when on exogenous hormones, embrace the bloat, knock out estrogen and you limit any potential gains.. The action of skeletal muscle hypertrophy involves some intracellular water retention, what do you think is responsible for increased size, it's mostly water..

TRT dose 80-100mg/week taken in 2 injections of half each.. (40-50mg)..
 
I started my cycle without the AI but sorted as soon as I got it in the mail a week later. I was afraid to go above .25 mg although I would dose it two days on one day off rather than eod.

I have very low body fat (smoke crack). Around 4% +\- 3%.

I haven?t had blood work done but I?ll look into it next doctor visit. So the low testosterone is just speculation. And it might just have to do with getting older (although 26 is not that old). I mostly base it on lack of drive/confidence I had back in college as well as disinterest in sex. Like before my cycle I had gone literally 4 months without cumming either from sex or masturbation or dreaming just from the lack of interest.
 
To make you feel better, there's no way you are 4% bf lol. That's considered the essential fat in your brain, organs, etc. Even the worst tweakers and crack heads I've seen were probably 7-8%, most around 8-9

i'm a male and take 20Mg escitalopram (SSRI) per day ---my libido went from 3x to 4x times a week to 1x per two weeks ---i can say, i suffer, because i want and can, but those SSRI's hold me back to even begin:(

How do people determine the number? I put a +\- on there because the result I got from some online calculator didn?t sound right.

As for ssri?s, the side effects have kept me away from ever even trying them. And several years ago I was definitely wondering if they?d be helpful for me. I never had libido issues while I was just shooting dope (or I just didn?t notice). The methadone has had a much greater effect in that department
 
You can use a dexa scan. Skin calipers. Etc. Online calculators I'd consider inaccurate. After youve seen what a certain % looks like enough, you'll get an idea of what it looks like and can eye ball it fairly well.
