Testing with Mandalin

Hi, just after some info regarding testing with Mandalin. I did a search of the forum but couldnt find anything relevant.

I tested a pill a little while ago, and i got a strange reaction of the liquid going bright blue after about a minute (and i mean really bright light blue).

I tested with all the other testers, everything pointed to Mdxx, but i had this weird blue colour in the Mandalin test. We consumed them and they certainly felt like MDxx, i didnt feel anything wierd.

Any help as to what it was would be appreciated

perhaps you mixed Mendelin and Simon's , or your regeant isnt good anymore? dont know, been a while since chem labs in college

yeah, well one of the little bottles was leaking, so that may be it? As an aside, should i throw the kit out because 1 of the bottles is leaking....

I'd seal the bottles, clean em, clean what you use to collect a drop of regeant, and try again
