Testing sus vapes for synthetics

Does anyone know how to test supposed cannabis concentrates for synthetics? I basically want to know if a few samples are legit THC or maybe a mixture of THC and synthetics, or just straight spice. Are there reagents? Or do I need to send samples off to a lab?

In the US I doubt synthetics would prove to be an economical proposition. The physical properties of THC are well known and well understood but the ever-changing synthetics pose problems with formulation.

I've heard that some of the really cheap ones on the DNMs can be synthetics, but there is a lot of cheap distillate available around so you're probably right. People are making crazy amounts of distillate with trimmings swept up off the floor for pennies per gram. D8 distillate is even cheaper than d9
