Testing MDMA & Speed

Hey I was just wondering if a pill contained both MDMA and Speed what the Marquis test would be?

Apparantly a pill that is doing rounds at the moment (VW - White), according to pillreports.com there is one type that contains METH, and one that doesn't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

It would depend on which substance was of the highest concentration. The EZtest you do at home can only give indication of a substance not concentration. I am not sure what they use in the testing lab for pillreports as the % are listed.

If it turns orange/brown...presence of speed-like substance.

If the Marquis indicated an ecstasy-like product by turning dark blur/purple/black....then

You should follow it up with Simons reagent to figure out whether or not there is MDMA or MDEA in the pill. Then Robadope reagent for indication of MDA, PMA, or amphetamine.

I am not sure if this helps. I am just sadly proud to have this committed to memory. The reagents leaked and ate up/burned the instruction paper....

i've had similar test results

for marquis reagent it shows the presence of meth

however the simons reagent shows the presence of mdma or mdea (turning blue)

but the robadope reagent had no reaction

so i am unsure of these results

is it likely that there might be a problem with my marquis bottle?

please help to explain these reactions

hoho, wait a minute! when simon's shows a blue reaction it indicates the presence of a secondary amine. if marquis shows a reaction that indicates speed or meth, then it is safe to conclude that it is meth, and not speed. mdma is not indicated with marquis, so it is not there. if it were amphetamine you would have seen a similar reaction with marquis, no color change with simons only a color change with robadope.

My personal trick to determine if a pill contains both meth AND mdma
is to drop the marquis first, and then send very tiny flakes in it.
This way, I can see flakes going brown/orange and other flakes
go purple/black. Up to now I have identified many pills with
the combo meth+mdma. You just gently rub a knife on the pill held
over the reagent, the flakes that fall are practically powder sized.
