Testing LSD with Ehrlich reagent

I bought a few EZ test ehrlich ampules to test my LSD before I ingest. My last positive test was from blotter that I cut 1/10 off and it went to pink with no question on the color. I ate the rest and an amazing first LSD trip that I'll never forget!

I recently came into some different, white plain blotter that is a ten-strip with no perforations. I was skeptical by this. Is this normal? I ended up testing the same small amount, with no reaction. I proceed to drop in a little more and I THINK I see something... finally I end up putting in about the size of a blotter and then I do see a positive reaction.

Does this indicate weak blotter? Is it possible that when the strip was laid it has much less LSD on the outside blotters?

This seems like a difficult substance to dose accurately due to the variation in blotter strength.

edit: after about 10 minutes the reagent has gone from pink to purple

As far as I know this is new teritory

I ate that second blotter and it was as strong as the previous one I tested. Seems likely to have been caused by an uneven amount of active on the blotter paper. I guess the most important information is in the fact that you DO have LSD. :) good enough for me
