Testing for PMA mixed into MDMA

What with a Bluelighter's friend being killed and him being hospitalised very recently due to taking pills which might contain PMA too, I'm keen to get the straight dope on checking for this.

I see Mandelin produces a red colour for PMA but what I'm wondering is - will this be obvious if the pill is mostly MDMA and therefore producing a strong dark-blue reaction?

Well I've been reading up on it and the answer seems to be that you cannot rely on Mandelin and need to use Robadope as in EZ-test Extreme kit. That tests for amines such as PMA whilst not colouring up for MDMA.
