The way I understand it, EZ tests for quantity of MDMA. Does it, or anything else available in A'dam test for harmful additives like DXM? If so, how?

No.. Actually EZ-Test is for detecting the presence (or absence) of:
MDMA/MDEA/MDA - Ecstasy like drugs
Amphetamine/Methamphetamine - Speed
2C-B
It can also detect DXM.
it is NOT suited to give you an indication of strength or purity.

DXM is used as a recreational drug - fine with me, I'd never do it though...
but... I can't believe you would suggest mixing MDMA + DXM?!?!?
That would be like asking for seratonin syndrome (or at least increase your risk)

At the Erowid MDMA vualts there is a chart that lists all sorts of other chemicals the reagent can detect like DPT Harmine AMT and heaps of others check it out.
