Testing at a Rave

Ive never seen this happen in person and ive been to probably 50 raves mostly small. Aparently it really has not been done much at raves sinces the 90's when that hole seen was much bigger.

But i guess in a way, someone could lie and put lsd in a bottle, But cmon i doubt that.

Its a shame they dont let you test there though, it's a real shame.. . . . .. . .
 
To allow testing is almost accepting that illegal drugs are going to present and that can cause problems with obtaining a permit etc - there used to be testing stations at the old raves etc but they quickly vanished.

The new one use ampules would be good for such events as they save taking in a full bottle of marquis etc.
 
Sorry, perhaps the OQ was unclear. I was talking on a clandestine level. How would one go about testing gear without making the dealers look like jerkoffs and ultimately getting angry at you. I live in 412 and a majority of stuff being sold is crap. I was just wondering if anybody had any experience testing their own supplies at raves before they purchase/consume.
 
I have never seen that though that's what I would do since all pills are shit in the 801. But here you would never be able to sneak a kit in. Not only do they not allow liquids but that would be considered drug Paraphernalia. They don't even let you in with bandanas or binkies here
 
The short answer for me is I don't purchase stuff at clubs.
It's not safe for a variety of reasons. . . NO relationship with the dealer so no real clue what your getting, no relationship with the dealer so no way to have any idea if they have any heat on them, very visible even when you think you're being sneaky, let's say you have ALL those issues covered you're left with a final reason. . . it's just not feasible to test your product prior to consumption :) I suppose you could if you where hyper determined and where able to sneak your testing kit in (which wouldn't be a problem at all in the DFW area or TX in general for that matter) it would still just be an unpractical thing to try to manage with the low light, lack of flat surfaces, crowded space, need to be covert ect ect ect. . .

Way back when I was the guy supplying the venue or rave and thus never had to worry about testing because I brought the product and new before hand what I had and what was being sold by whom. Now days I just make sure that If I'm going to be attending an event on a substance (which is actually quite rare now days) that I procure and if at all possible consume BEFORE I get there. Usually when I go to events now days I'm sober or just drinking a little bit.

Well in 412 thats not how it works. There are a very few amount of dealers that supply a ton of people, and most of them are selling crap. Most raves around here are lax about security, and have plenty of well lit bathrooms. I'm just saying that given the fact that I am virtually assured to have to purchase product at an event, how would one test it the best way? Perhaps this is just a dead topic.
 
I've often pondered this too. At a one-day festival over the summer I had brought my testing kit but left it in the car as they were checking peoples pockets. Of course I bought a pill from some friends of friends and turns out I get piped... just my luck. If you really want to I suppose the best way is to bring a white plastic spoon. Use your key to get a little on there and test in the bathroom.

If a dealer gets pissed at you for wanting to determine the legitimacy of his product, in front of him, then he is a fucker.
Just ask if you can shave off a tiny bit of one pill, even buy one pill, and test it right in front of him.

he or she should definitely NOT get angry at your for testing product. . . if they do then you shouldn't deal with them. . .

As for your other post it sounds as if where you are you have plenty of privacy, light, and work space. . . that being the case just ask the dealer to join you in the bathroom and test it. . . I provided my thoughts on why it'd be impracticle (at least in my area) but if those don't apply to you then I'm not sure where the problem lies. . . ?

The only real problem is exposing a dealer in front of a wide variety of people for selling shit. I was just wondering if anybody had experience in this area.

Ahh, I see. . .

In my opinion dealers that are selling shit need to be exposed. . .
That being said I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate it much.

I have seen this happen at an outdoor rave.. It was a frantic situation. We don't have security here. I always hide all my stuff and go in. I scout at new venues and such. I guess my best advice is to do all you can to score before the event. Waiting until you get to these captured markets and then copping is not gonna yield most often.
