So swim got some sample molly cap and decided to test it, opened up the cap and surprisingly it didn't look like powder, it was clump together and the color was like a brown/yellow, anyway swim proceeded to test w Marquis regent and right when it drop it's started bubbling violently n gave off some smoke, the color turned instantly from very dark purple to black, tested twice n same result. Any idea? Swim tested pills before that had mdma in it and it didn't bubble, just turned blacked.

Bubbling, smoking, and fizzing don't really matter. Pipes can do this, so can MDMA. It's just a really strong chemical reaction. The color and time is what you want to pay attention; your results seem great based on what you said.

Yea but dark purple? Haven't seen this around before. Swim wouldn't want to get rip off because they are spending a good amount of money on it

Fucking retarded SWIM-bullshit... :|

Anyway, one simple Google for 'purple + Marquis' would have given you all the answers you possibly need. In short: MDMA and half a dozen other substances will turn (dark) purple or black with Marquis, depending mostly on the ratio MDMA vs Marquis, where a higher concentration of MDMA will give a darker hue (i.e. black). Although there is a high chance the capsule indeed contains MDMA, there is no way to verify this with using only the Marquis reagent.

I was once a swimmer ; ) I tested a bart simpson cutout with marquis reagent once, and all it did was get super frothy and foaming, zero color change. Edata has tested bart simpson cutouts and they contained TMFPP, BZP, Phenylpiperazine and caffeine. The pill tasted (licked) like licking a battery. MDMA will taste bitter, not sour. Molly I once had also bubbled and fizzed. I wonder what msm would change in a marquis reaction?
