having just done my first ez test i was wanting a bit of clarification.
the scrapings turned dark purple into black (which now actually looks greyish green)over aperiod of about 10 secs to get to black, immediatley to purple. my questions are
1) does the time period to reach black indicate the concentration of xtc. ie quicker = stronger
2)does the colour or result predict the strength of xtc ie, blue->black = lower to higher dose.
the pills btw are double stamped triangle supermen

Although the time of the reaction *COULD* indicate strength, fillers and pill binders could also slow the reaction, so that said, I wouldn't count on a test kit to determine purity or strength.
Now, as for the tone of colour, the differences are most likely the result of different (yet similar) substances..
MDMA, MDA, and MDEA will all change to a similar purple-blue-black type colour, which is extremely difficult to distinguish for most people.
Either an E2 kit from Chemical Generation http://www.chemicalgeneration.com.au which can separate MDMA from MDA, and detect Ketamine, and PMA
or
an EZ-Test supreme from http://www.eztest.com which can differentiate MDMA from MDA (MDMA & MDEA will give the same reaction AFAIK) and differentiate Methamphetamine from Amphetamine.
