Misc terrible GBL hangovers

I have had these twice now, after dosing 2-3mL twice at night to sleep while on tolerance break from suboxone. Both times when I woke up, I felt very nauseous and hungover, wound up puking bile for at least an hours. Is it as bad once you convert it to GHB? I'm tapering slowly so I know this isn't due to suboxone w/d and frankly I want nothing to do with GHB/GBL if these hangovers are an inherent part of the drug.
 
Passing out on downers/sedatives normally yields uncomfortable hangover like qualities. This is especially true for me and alprazolam! I would safely say that the only sleep meds I would use to go to sleep on, are wise dosages of hydroxyzine or temazepam. Definitely not both.
