Temptation on the Highway

Omg

YO LACEY none of these cats understand new jersey like we do esp the cats from north jersey, theres no place like it in the world,

if u aint from nj north jersey u just wont understand the phenom of the highways and how they tie into the drug culture directly here,
its not just a highway if yur thinkin that, its the highways and signs we see flyin down rt 80,chain smoking, sick as hell about to make the descent into

paterson or doing 90 up rt 21 through nutley and belleville rippin a bundle scarface style on your way back from grafton ave projects or scrappin up that last 24 dollars in change , gas tank on E,cell phone battery on half a bar, slippers on,just to cop 2am style at B Tizzle(baxter terrace),DRIVING RIGHT UP

THE MIDDLE OF JAMES STREET ,WNDOWS DOWN, THE WHOLE 9 might I add, then gettin the rush of pullin on I-287scott fucking free from the po po about to do that good ol' late night bag to take away all your pain!!
When Im on the highway It reminds me of getting my fix, reminds me of some of the best times ive had in my life as far as drugs go.

North jersey is like no other place in the world, just the thought of that summertime dope love affair making my daily mecca down the turnpike at 7am ,sun commin up, no cars on the road, the smell of summer all around, its all part of the culture up here. Every highway leads to a cop spot in my eyes, anything you want is accessible from ALL points NSEW and everytime i see that newark/the oranges sign i shudder because thats were my other half is at.....

I LOVE JERSEY. <3 <3

I for one definitely fiend out when i see a highway sign or highway exit number for a cop spot. I live in CT and there are 3 different cities i used to cop in, so while on one of the 2 major highways, I'm bound to pass atleast one no matter where im going.

It's funny though, there used to be an infamous cop spot not too far from where i live. One day the projects there were randomly fenced in, with those big green plastic pieces up so you can't see in. No less than a week later the whole housing project was torn down, and that block street has yet to re-open to drive through. But everytime i drive down the parellel street i get the coppin' urge, even though nothings there!

It can be very tempting. Like everyone said especially in the summer months, because the open air drug dealing is even more open and surreal.

The whole thing, speeding down the highway, getting off at the exit. catching every single red light on the way to the block. Look left look right, no cops, pull up to the spot, get out cop and go.

Then the whole rush of getting out of the hood without getting fucked with by the police. Pulling over in the not quite as ghetto neighborhoods and doing your shot before getting back on the highway.

Shoot your bag/s. Light up a menthol cig, turn up the music and cruise back home with the windows down.

the whole experience just adds to the fun of shooting dope. I wonder if i'd enjoy it just as much if i had bags dropped off at my front door??? probably not.

God I kno yo

Parkway south im glad you foudn this thread homie I was hopin youd hit it up when i made it.Ahh thats the mutha fuckin truth aint it. That feeling...The rush once you pull up on the ramp after u cop and its like a baseball game in your head the ump yellin "SAFE!!!"

Aint nothin like it....nothin at all..Jersey til the day I fuckin die, love it to death, never no less. Jersey and heroin goes hand in hand and i love em both. I cant lie i cant fight it jus what it is.

Ur right that nobody else understands it like we got it in jerz tho...maybe jus cuz everywhere you go theres always SOMEWHERE.....u in noth jerz, u got the oranges newark irvington paterson, go a lil farther u got JC, down by the shore u got asbury park then atlantic city, down to the west u got camden, ....shit u cant excape it...If i ever really wanted to quit dope Id have to leave the state. its just too much.

I remember driving back home (to CT) from Richmond and I really wanted to get dope that night. It initially was just a small craving, but with the long drive and all those blue signs with the large white "H" (they're for hospitals) I was practically drooling by the time I got home.

lol i kno..I always laugh everytime I see the H signs...

Esp in paterson St Joes hospital is by alot of dope activity so its funny cuz the signs are 100% tru...H ...right this way.

Damn you Jersey people! You suck! Down here in Orlando it's pretty much anywhere between Orlando International Airport, the 408 and all along OBT. Unfortunately if you aren't Puerto Rican or actually know someone life can be rough. After a friend of ours moved to Jersey and called back telling us it is the dope promised land we're all about to take a road trip.
Damn lucky bastards we're coming to see you.

Ha ha ha.........

Better get some jersey plates. Aint no florida mutha fuckas got no bizness in our hoods. Actually come thru come thru. Yall Fla-plated asses can attract all the cop attention so us jersey muhfuckas can get in n out less noticed. =D

hahahaha word up. Ight, well then you will be allowed in. you prooved that you got at least baseline intelligence there, so you get a pass.
your jersey pass is about the same as ur g-pass as far as im concernd....

This is kind of off topic but a few weeks ago when I was going thru some minor opiate withdrawals and actually feeling decent (no bad cravings at least) these new Lexus commercials started coming on. Here is a Youtube link to the one n question - http://youtube.com/watch?v=4R4IIYs6jSU

Needless to say (maybe?) this commercial triggered some pretty nasty cravings I'm probably gave into them at the time or shortly after.

^ I didn't click the link but I'm assume its those commercials that say "The power of H".... I laughed so fucking hard at those.

Anyway ooks like this is become a "post a pic of the freeway offramp where you pick up dope" thread. Not really, but I want it to be one. I used to go way out of the way to pick up, past downtown LA, which is an hours drive for me. I wasn't picking up off the corner, it was from a dude I would call in advance, the most reliable person ever (not most reliable drug dealer, most reliable person). In two years, I think there were only two times he couldn't do it. Once, because he was out of town, and another because "too much cerveza eh."

Anyway, his phone is no longer working, and I've heard/gotten the feeling that he's gone. But, the best fucking part, is the freeway where I would to go pick up is immortalized for all time on an album cover. Its the Minutemen, who barely anyone knows by name, but everyone knows as the band that performs the jackass theme song (its called "corona"):

Thats the sign for where I used to go to pick up tar in the top right corner!!!

^ that's ridiculous.

R.I.P. D. Boon.

These always get me fiendin' too.

This is obviously a pic of the pump, but im talking about those green signs on the highway that just read "Diesel Up Ahead".

damn your all making me feen now.... and im now officially state property and on probation.. even though i could probably piss pos. for dope since i have a letter from my pain mgmt. doc saying im on opiate therapy pain management for my back... though my script is for oxy i could just say i was on ms contin with that letter...

but anyways im going back to the gym monday anyway now that my back is doing better and hitting a different type of needle and have too much $$$ invested in my juice and hGH to be goin down to the hood more than once or twice a month thank god....

cuz this thread is oohh so true... cant believe u mentioned the BT LOL, i dont mean it like that tho, cuz obviously the cops def. know about BT....

u ever been to the one spot directly across the street from the cop shop and church??????? now that was fucking sketchy ashell lol... it was completely surreal. i mean directly across the street they be standin on theother side of teh buildings all over the place

Lacey, You're threads always deliver for me. I love seeing what you have to say about Jerz. I don't cop on the streets anymore. Around here it seems as though the cops know whats going on at every second. Now if you were to go down to Cincy, you can cop on just about every corner downtown.

yea i feel you on this, im from long island (suffolk county) and always went to bushwick (brooklyn) to cop....i got busted coppin some bundles with my boy last year and now i have to drive to queens for drug court....man, if u know the grand central parkway, the exit to get on queens blvd where the court house is on the right side of the parkway and on the left side is the enterance to the jackie robinson pkwy into bklyn.....like RIGHT next to each other. aint that a bitch
