I take it to sleep once in awhile. However I go to bed late and I notice it makes me very out of it when I wake up (which is early)

So If I take it lets say 2 hours before I sleep will it knock me out like serquell or something. Or would it just calm me down and make me sleepy so that when I am ready to go to bed it would just help me sleep fast and not last as long?

I have never stayed up on it once. I always go right to sleep but I wake up around 4am every day and I hate feeling ucky. Just wondering if I can take it a couple of hours before sleep and wondering if it may help even more plus relax me before bed. I hate going to bed its a stressful thing for me from past exp I have had.

I only take it twice a week

Hi, yeah, you can dose your temazepam earlier. I don't really see the point of your question, though ;)

well I dont want to fall alseep with all the lights on and the tv on in the living room. I mean if its a strong hit I won't even bother. I mean can I take it and hang out in the living room and when I feel a bit noddy go to bed. Or is it fast and strong. Like a hit to the back of the head. THUD. Im alseep.
Get my question now?

I just don't want to take it at 11pm when I go to bed I feel ucky in the AM. I want to take it at like 9pm then go to bed at 11pm

I remember you having a similar question awhile back.

You most certainly could take your dose earlier, if you wanted. I might take it maybe an hour earlier instead of two, until you get used to being awake for that extra hour you might risk some random falling asleep.

Lol yeah I get your question now. No it won't hit you fast and strong like that, so yeah, you can take your temaz when you want ;)

I find temazepam very euphoric in a way. It almost makes me want to stay up instead of sleep. But I do have little problem with diazepam, so maybe it's tolerence why I don't fall asleep. Well anyways, temazepam can be very recreational to certain people is all im saying.

You could run into problems with taking it early and trying to fight the initial sedation only to find you enjoy the relaxing 'euphoria -in a stress/care free sense' that ensues; that situation is prone to redosing; addiction; tolerance issues;

Would it not be easier to try to adjust your life schedule so you can go to sleep earlier; get 6-8 hours of sleep; and wake up not still under the effects of your benzos? Temazepam generally has a short half life compared to say clonazepam so sure if you take it and wake up 4 hours later you'll still feel it but i'd say fi you give it 8 hours you should all clear. Everyone is different with benzos though; perhaps it stays in your system longer. Wish I were like that

Yeah just adding taking it earlier and staying awake for 2 hours before bed, you might even feel it begin to wear off and be not as sleepy. You'd be far better off taking it earlier and going to bed then. Taking it earlier and delaying sleep is just gonna cause you to run into problems.

If your not that keen on the effects and only do it twice a week I'm at a loss to understand why you bother at all.

Are you unable to spleep at all on the other nights or are you using other meds?

Temazepam is really euphoric! I really wish I had a script for it lol.. definitely take it hours before bedtime so you can enjoy it! :)

all benzos will basically stop working if you abuse them for a prolonged period of time ...i can attest

I find temazepam to be the least sleep inducing of all benzos with the exception of ativan.... It makes me feel so wonderful, like a bomb could go off and I wouldn't blink... Diazepam is my second favorite for this feeling. However, they all help you sleep. If you want the knockout blow, try xanax or halcion.
