Hey guys I did recently ask a similar question Regarding Temazepam And quetiapine. I have been on Temazepam for about 3 months but I have been off it for 2 weeks now and had almost no W/D symptoms as I was only taking therapeutic doses. I have been prescribed more of it today and I am curious as to what sort of dose to take recreationally. I have dropped 5x 10mg tabs about an hour or so ago and feel quiet relaxed and abit uhhh, ooey gooey is the best way to describe it but its nothing special. I am wandering if a redose of another 50mg would achieve better results. I feel as if im on the brink of being high but Im not quiet there if that makes sense. I feel good but I wouldn't call it euphoria.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :)
 
Temazepam is a benzo hypnotic so taking more will likely just make you pass out. But it would also depend on your tolerance.
 
^ That too. If 50mg doesn't put you to sleep within a couple of hours then you already have a tolerance built up and that is the first step to dependence and wd.
 
I took 100mg in one go and my head fealt weird all the next day annd it was not nice
 
Ended up redosing 60mg ontop of the 50 I already had and well. it made me feel REALLY dopey. I eventually fell asleep and had the most amazing sleep (which is rare for me). I also felt REALLY good, like a nice mellow chilled the fuck out state and did not give a flying mcfuck about any issues in my life right now. I wouldn't call it euphoric but it was a really good feeling. I am not scared about withdrawals as I don't plan on this being a regular thing. Ive always got my Seroquel for sleep which is good enough.
 
^ Well just be careful because you obviously like the feeling of not giving a flying mcfrack and quite frankly, to not simply pass out after 50mg and taking another 60mg to fall asleep after, I'd say you have a tolerance. Tolerance tens to be a big step towards dependence. Nobody plans on getting withdrawals.

I have a fairly high tolerance to opioids but no tolerance to benzos. 15mg of temazepam will normally have me passing out within a couple of hours, even during opioid withdrawal.
 
I used to take 45mg nightly and tbph it didn't do jack shit. Response to benzos can be pretty individualist just like any other narcotic.

Generally speaking people report that recreational effects start @ 60mgs or so, not that I would advocate taking such a large dose without knowing what your response to such a dose would be.

OP, if you value your health, do NOT double your dosages if you don't get the effects your looking for, that's a road to simple od.....
 
Thanks for the feedback guys, In hindsight I was pretty reckless the other night. and I agree with the above poster it is definitely the road too OD particularly with alcohol in the mix. Im finding out that benzos aren't really my thing but since im looking for a new "buzz" ever since I have quit meth I think when it comes too benzos I am barking up the wrong tree.
 
Going from meth to benzos for a "buzz" is like going from having sex to sticking your arm in a pot of wet spaghetti. If anything using a reasonable dose of temazepam to help come down from meth is way more suitable.

"He (the doctor) took mercy on me, he gave me 10mg of valium and sent me on my way" (Ray Liotta as Henry Hill in Goodfellas when he was fracked on coke and up for days - which by the way I suspect he was really high on coke in those scenes).
 
Anything that takes the edge off helps. It doesn't matter I ended up relapsing anyway lastnight :(
 
^ Well yes, temazzies will take the edge off. And I'd venture to say the relapse might have been because you were disappointed by the effects of temazepam? This is classic addictive behaviour my friend so be careful.

You can't take back the relapse but you can move on and call it a bump in the road. You're not the first, certainly not the last so don't beat yourself up too much. The fact that you're upset is a good sign. And it does matter. Don't let it drag you down into another spiral.
 
My intent lastnight was not really too take the edge off, it was more too get high. I sortve took it as trying a new drug as ive never really used benzos before recrestionally anyways. And once they fucked me up I slept for awhile and got up then bought some gear and trust me I feel like shit for it. and im freaked out about my relapse although I don't feel an overwhelming craving too do it but it still sucks. I am gonna take your advice and just rid myself of benzos.... they seem like a HELL of a thing too get off. And frankly if im having this much trouble getting off Meth than I cant imagine me ever getting off benzos... It was a good idea at the time though. I think I might just stick too the best downer of all...... WEED! :D
 
^ That's a good plan for the benzos. Benzo withdrawl can end up potentially being life threatening. Take it one step and day at a time with the meth and try your best to stay off it. Tell yourself you must and be pissed at yourself.

Personally I see nothing recreational about benzos and especially temazepam, a hypnotic benzo which is basically and primarily a strong sleeping pill that possesses other typical benzo properties. Others disagree but maybe after taking opioids for some time this is why. But they can be great for sleep once in a while. That's about it for me.

I took 15mg temazepam a couple hours ago because I've barely slept in two days and can't take another sleepless episode...and am getting quite sleepy now. 30mg would have knocked me out an hour ago.

Meth is just bad news.
 
The jellies were good.......just 1 (10mg) & had me feeling really nice & a mild euphoric feeling. I never took them for recreational purposes, just to relax me during stressful situations & times I need to sleep.
 
Be careful with the Temazepam as they can make people have violent episodes, that added with a blackout can lead to some very scary wake up calls.
 
if ur looking to take temazis recreationally be prepared for a high chance of addiction. a friend of mine is currently dependant on them amongst other benzo's to just function in day to day life. and if he tries to stop or decrease dosage he risks seizures and possibly death. he also risks fatal overdose. he also risks doing stupid shit which he regrets when he mixes them with alcohol. i dont know you but i know my best friend very well and i am dreading the day i get a phonecall or something telling me the worst has happened and il have a coffin to carry in a few days time.

Agreed. Either he has a heck of an off-the-chart tolerance to strong benzos or is using a stimulant. Temazepam doses he mentions are dangerously toxic and could potentially lead to coma and respiratory failure if not transported to ER in time. Flirting with disaster there dude. Respect the drug and it will respect you.
 
45 mg of restoril had me feeling fine and well rested the next morning. I guess its a good thing that benzos and alcohol don't really hook me, once my script was up I didn't refill it even though there is one on the bottle. Its great for comedowns off stims as well cause it can slightly boost your mood sometimes.

While temazepam is considered more toxic than other benzos you would need more than 110mg to get to where you're talking about...at least for a normal healthy person, doing dangerous shit in a benzo blackout is far more likely. Now if other depressants were taken with it then I could see someone having a bad night.

tldr: don't abuse benzos. :)
