Temazepam vs. Nitrazepam

I've been taking clonazepam and temazepam prescribed for over a year now. Temazepam is the most euphoric and enjoyable benzo I have tried. I haven't even tried half of all the different benzos. However, I have had midazolam IV when I had an operation and for what I can remember the feeling was incredible. If I could try it on my own accord I would likely fall in love.

I've only tried: Alprazolam, Lorazepam, Clonazepam, Triazolam, Temazepam, Midazolam (surgery)

I too am prescribed clonazepam and temazepam, 2mg and 30mg, respectively, the Klonopin for daily anxiety, the Restoril for sleep. It's nice.

I like nitrazepam, but I know it better than temazepam which I tried only once. I'd sure like to try it again, cause I don't remember it very well (that could be saying it's not worth its reputation, that could be...).

It probably did. That would probably be why. Did you take the Valium during the WD's too or no?

Yeh i'm thinking so captain. The Valium may have been the better for the withdrawls, so IMO the better benzo. Mog was good though, i'd say mix between temaz and ambien/ sort of hypnotic waves of sedation. If you get a chance to try it let me know how you found it. I have acsess to more so i might do a little research and post up some comparisons :)

nitraz and temaz are my 2 favorite benzos.
i find them to both be euphoric, but temazepam moreso.
nitrazepam is more sedating i've found -- in fact, next to triazolam, nitrazepam is the most sedative benzo i've done.
the downside to nitrazepam is that the sedation usually lasts into the second day and it's usually quite strong.

I've never done nimetazepam, but from what i know is that it is an intermediate acting benzo. Half life of nimetazepam is listed as 14-30 hrs. Temazepam has a half life of 8-22 hrs.

Temaz for me. Better muscle relaxation, Euphoria and Anxiolytic effects by far.
Nitraz was practically all sedation for me. Maybe I didn't take enough (can't remember how much I did take) but I'm still fairly sure it was nowhere near as lush ;)

And I know I say this all the time.... but....

♥♥♥Nimetazepam♥♥♥

~^_^~ It's freakin' unbelievably good...
**Cries at the thought of most likely never coming across it again** :(

I have tried nitrazepam and midazolam and found them to be too sedating/ amnestic to be useful to me, though I did find a nice synergy between nitrazepam and small amounts of other benzos. Temazepam, I have wanted to try for a long time but never had the opportunity. It certainly sounds like it would be more recreational than nitrazepam or midazolam from the reports I have read and my experience with the latter two.

I often see the two being compared because they're apparently fairly similar (except the latter is not available by prescription in the States).

I unfortunately haven't tried nitrazepam yet, but I hope to do so when I go on my yearly trip to Europe (Paris, Barcelona, and Lisbon every summer, visiting family and friends), but I hope to do so when I'm in Paris next month, I'll hit up a doc and try to get my hands on some Mogadon (nitrazepam). Bromazepam is much easier to find in basically any medicine cabinet in anyone's house all over France, but nitrazepam is a runner-up, it's usually one of the first benzos docs prescribe for insomnia.

Anyways, how does the euphoria and duration of effects and motor coordination impairment compare between the two? I've also seen them likened to nimetazepam, unfortunately only available in SE Asia countries... How does that compare to temaz and nitraz as well?

Nitrazepam has a long duration and is a good pill, but if your looking for a good high they stop giving you the realy good euphoria wery fast, i don`t know why....

Nitraz makes you feel like shit the next day, temazies are nice, but the 30mg restorils are nothing like old school jellies, dont feel anywhere near as potent and i know alot are imported and alot of them are fake, need to take tones of em, my guess is they have about 10-15mg temazepam in them, not 30.

Still think xanax and diaz and the best overall benzos, but i agree temazepam is probably the one with the biggest mood lift.

Old thread that is better suited for BDD and really didn't need to be bumped...

Although my knowledge of benzodiazepines is rather limited I would venture to say that I have head nitrazepam is one of the most stoning knock out type benzos (think halcion) and I would suggest considering the marked tolerance increase these types of benzos may produce. Hell, if you are vacationing to the other side of the world I would suggest not taking something that may inhibit your opportunity to do some unique, perhaps once in a lifetime activities/experiences when you could pop a pill back at home anytime. In any event be safe and have allot of fun !

Half life of the n-pams is actually fairly similar according to wiki - temaz is a fair bit shorter (kinda like the crack of the benzo world ;)). Nimetaz is the only benzo that I've seen regularly rated as more euphoric than temaz - always seem to be the top two most sought after benzos in Asia. If nimetaz is half as good as they say then that extra bit of half-life should be a damn sight more fun than being monged on manky ol' moggies :D
Nimetazepam is overrated (IMO/IME)

I enjoy temazepam more and find it much more euphoric, but nitrazepam is more sedating. In fact, out of all the benzos I've tried (and I've tried 13-14 different benzos, including flunitrazepam), only triazolam (Halcion) was more sedating than nitrazepam. Still, I find nitrazepam very slightly euphoric and I enjoy it very much.

Temazepam is #1 for sure, with nitrazepam coming in second for me. Third is flunitrazepam followed by triazolam and then diazepam.

I've yet to try nimetazepam, lormetazepam, loprazolam, or brotizolam and I they are all reputed to be excellent benzos. Since I'm in Europe for the month of August, I hope to try lormetazepam, loprazolam, and brotizolam. Hopefully I get to try nimetazepam sometime in the future.
