Temazepam - Placebo or legitimate high?

So I dropped 30mg of temazepam an hour or so ago and I've never taken benzos. I was wondering - is this placebo? It sounds like a considerably low dose, but I feel very light headed abnd relaxed, and kind of offbalanced. Is this what to expect from Benzos? I'm not sure. Because I was sitting there and then I thought "OH EM GEE could this be a placebo and could I be bullshitting myself like those 8th graders who mistakenly drink apple juice and pretend to be "Wasted as fuck" after their 3rd Poppa.
 
Wiki says 15-45mg so that doesn't seem like a low dose, especially for your benzo virginity. With 98% bioavailability.
Relaxed and loss of motor skills are effects of benzos.
It's not placebo, you're benz'd out man
 
yeah u will start to know what to look for after a while , my first time taking benzos i ended out taking 10mg xanax cause i didnt think i was feeling it lol along with a shitload of alcohol , meth , some acid , some mescaline and lots of buds , what an experience that was . didnt realise till the morning the shit i had done was FUCKED UP hahaha .

To the OP - if you're feeling relaxed/tired etc after taking it, then I'd take a wild guess and say it's not a placebo ;)

i dont remember much besides stealing alcohol , going 160 on the back of a moto with no helmet not holding on , doing some disrespectful acts and sitting on a couch eating a tab trying to drink mescaline hahaha , then i was told that i basically didnt speak a real word the whole night and was all over the place , no1 else really remembers shit either .

The few times I've had to be told what I did the night before (and this is only from alcohol, nothing mixed) and the feeling freaks me out something severe! And not as if I had done anything major or dangerous - just total blackout. Scary... and yet never had a blackout with other drugs. Weird 8(
 
good for you :) as long as you're loving it, that's all that matters!

I used to hate the psychosis that came with stim use, and even though I knew it was going to happen at some point because once I started on the stims I would push until I ran out, even if I wasn't getting any higher and just getting the shitty side effects and come down even worse. It was a love-hate thing with stims.... just a mix of lack of control/wanting to get higher/and addictive personality. Perfect combo for someone to try drugs lol
 
haha too true , yeah i lived in a junkie hellhole where i got given atleast a few points a day , basically never slept except for random crashes that would happen when the prostitute i lived with was too tweaked to work lol . i kno what u mean by love-hate , fuck i hated the shit going on all the time , the constant psychosis the headgames it was just fucked , all the negative side effects CONSTANTLY happening lol , feeling like shit even when high . it was all good meth too that was one of the worst things , was so hard to break the cycle with such good meth .

I like temaze,

shit works good for me even at super low doses for anxiety issues...

past a certain point like all benzos it just becomes a recipe for knocking yourself and / or doing stupid shit lol
 
I had 21 more 10mg of temazepams left, and I planned on using 6 last night. I ended up somehow taking the 21 pills. I've searched all over the house to see if they went missing or something, but there's nothing there, and I'm almost certain I didn't take 21 because I redosed only a few times. Fucking hell...

not really a 'recreational high'. they make you a bit wobbly, certainly amnesiac. they are subtly enjoyable, but provide welcome relief for certain things (anxiety, insomnia, comedowns) but they can make you do crazy things and cause some of the most dangerous, uncomfortable addiction known.

temazepam is a benzo that pretty much does nothing for me. having quite a high tolerance to benzos over many years, if I became quite panicky during the day and harder anxiolytics didn't do the job to calm my anxiety - I would take 30-40mg of temazepam to help calm me down on top of my normal anxiolytic medication. for sleeping, I find they are useless. different strokes.... :\

Upon recollecting I have a burn on my hand from a cigarette I smoked. Where the hell did I get a cigarette? I don't even smoke. Ugh... the mysteries of life. Anyway, I don't think I'll be using these recreationally again.
 
I don't see any further benefit to this thread. If you want to discuss benzos than head over to The Benzodiazepine Thread. If you just want to talk about how being on benzos feels then try a blog :)

As spacejunk said, amnesia is a prominent feature of benzos. It's very common to repeatedly redose without intention or memory as such. Be careful.
