I think it really depends on the Benzodiazepine and how often it's used, I've read a lot of different stuff on detection times of the Benzo group. Some of them with cronic use are up to 6 weeks apparently.
I'm suspecting the 3-7 days are for a one day binge.

Temazepam has a half-life of 8-22hrs after ingestion. Blood tests can detect traces up until 4-5 days after eating.

Most user mags say up to 5 days for irregular use, but we've seen a fair bit of evidence that it can be detected for up to 2 weeks following a period of seriously eextended use (ie daily use for several months)
