Hey guys my doctor prescribed me some Temazepam for anxiety and sleep problems. The very same day I had a pretty much semi breakdown sortve thing and went and saw my psychiatrist who told me to stop taking the Temazepam and put me on an anti depressant. My question here is, I have a whole box of Temazepam and remember reading somewhere that some people regard it as the most euphoric Benzo. Also what would be a good dose to get recreation affects?

I find it to be the only benzo with any real euphoria to it. I like it far better then other benzodiazepines in terms of recreational potential and i even prefer it over IV diazepam. 15mg's of temazepam is enough to start out with to see how it affects you. If you don't get much off that you can take 30mg's which is the max recommended dose in treating insomnia. It kicks in pretty quick and on a empty stomach you'll feel it after about 20 minutes.

I really dont find much euphoria out of it, but thats most likely due to my tolerance to benzos; Ive been on xanax for 5 years (2mg 2x a day), and before that klonopin for 2 years (0.5 mgs 2x a day as needed)...but if its your first time using it, and you fight the sleep, You should get a pretty great high out of it. be careful and since its gonna be your first time I wouldnt take more than 30mgs...
I recall hearing somewhere that temazepam is less forgiving in overdose than the other benzos too
