Temazepam and xanax

I know Temazepam is a hypnotic but any of you use it for anxiety stuff?
Xanax makes me feel all icky and depressed now.
Also whats a good starting dose? I have 30's but i was wonder if thats too much.

The trick with temazepam is it's meant for sleep. I was prescribed them long ago and found that if I took it before I was ready to go to sleep, I would try to put it off for a few minutes. Go to bed eventually and couldn't sleep and before I knew it I was high. You get a tolerence to them quickly. Just don't plan to drive anywhere and just lay on the sofa and chill. Temazepam is very relaxing.

30 mg is what I had, you should be fine as long as you are home or in a safe place.

Luckily your not yet in too deep.... but just a word of warning.

Out of all the Benzos i've used the withdrawals from Temazepam and Xanax were the 2 worst i've ever experienced, also Benzos in general are known to possibly cause or worsen depression if taken over a long period of time.

Good point, Pete because I didn't use temazepam daily. But years later the xanax got out of hand. Worst withdrawals ever!

I always felt temazepam better for daytime use than for sleep, and so I used it. 10-20mgs should do it.
