Telling doctors and ER personnel you are a hard drug user

ya i thought that medical people should have confidentiality not to get police involved.


a couple years ago after i took e i had serotonin syndrome. I was at home and got scared so i called an ambulance. The ambulance of course fuking came with the police and kept asking em questions about the drugs but didnt seem like they wanted to charge me. but still wtf i had a medical problem y call the police, maybe its policy or soemthing. Also i dont even think the 911 operator even knew what serotonin syndrom was or even the paramedic. The doctor and nurse at the hospital knew though. anyways that was a fuking scary day.
 
^ if you have to call 911 for a medical emergency related to drugs, consider just describing the symptoms without mentioning it is drug induced. Wait till the paramedics are on the scene to let them know you're on drugs.. this way there is a lot less chance of the cops showing up.
