Tell us about the last film you watched, mate!

Tombstone_movie_poster.jpg

I'd forgotten how much I liked this movie. Remembering how much I enjoyed Deadwood I was flicking through my collection for a film of similar kind to sit down to and I settled on Tombstone.
Brilliant film. :)

The Big Sleep

pretty cool for an american movie from the 40s.

"I like to see people drink."

"Then she tried to sit in my lap while I was standing up."

"...very little I can eat, and my sleep is so near waking that it's hardly worth the name. I seem to exist largely on heat, like a newborn spider."

Love and Death

Old Woody Allen film, basically a parody of russian literature.

Sensual Nudity, that is the only reason. :)

^^^^Tombstone= +1

a lot better than I though it was going to be; thought it was going to be another generic statham action flick like the transporters

...really? Is that possible, that Man tends to taint every film he is in with his god-awful excuse for acting, god he's so vapid...albeit usually the films aren't that good.

Cannot stand him- Boo! to Jason Stathem, Boo! to you and your whispering low toned, pseudo-macho-wannabe voice. Grrr! :| ;)

^ I just watched that yesterday as well, I didn't feel it was worth seeing at the cinema. Actually, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Then I watched Resident Evil: Afterlife which after having enjoyed the last ones a little this movie just bored me.

Exam.

Interesting way to hire people... Also interesting what can be done in a one-set film. Reminded me of Cube for some odd reason--Probably just 'cause they were stuck against the odds in one room, lol.

Resident evils are worth a watch though, just for Milla! =D

Better than I expected. Not usually a Pierce Brosnan fan so I tend to avoid his films but he didn't bother me in this.

I fell in love with the home he was staying in as well.

Check this out for an office.
Yes that's a window and behind the dunes is the Sea.

The house is on an island off the coast of Boston somewhere, apparently.

Apparently the outside of the house was just a set.

Just saw this, i wasn't sure what to expect.. initially it didn't catch my attention but as i am a huge fan of Darren Aronofsky i thought i would check it out.

I was blown away.. this movie was complex, intense, intimate and engaging. Aronofsky really took the psychological thriller element to another level, this was an amazing piece of film and directing.

Captivating movie that drew me in fairly quickly.
It did a good job creating the world in which these prisoners were subjected to.
It's only now after some quick google searches that I find the story is not as true as they have promoted but may in fact e fictional. Nonetheless, a great film and well worth seeing at the cinema, if only for some of the scenery. Colin Farrells character was rather convincing as well I might add but Jim Sturgess was equally as brilliant in his role and stole the show imo. :)
