You said that you trusted me
That you can tell me anything
But there’s something that you’re hiding
You’re not saying everything

I know it’s hard to trust
When you’ve been hurt so much before
And I can not convince you
That I won’t hurt the people I adore

So I guess I’ll sit here waiting

I don’t care if you don’t tell me
Just don’t give me a fake smile

If I can not understand
Then I can not talk you though it
But give me a chance to hear
Then we’ll find out if I can listen to it

So if it hurts to bring it up
Then we’ll discuss everything but
But you know deep down what I think
I don’t think you’re a nut
