I have a bottle of Multivitamins that are for adults over the age of 50.

The ingredients are:
Beta Carotene- 3000 IU
Vitamin E - 75 IU
Vitamin A - 3000 IU
Vitamin C - 90mg
Folic Acid - 0.6mg
Vitamin B1 - 2.25mg
Vitamin B2 - 3.2mg
Vitamin B6 - 8mg
Vitamin B12 - 25mcg
Niacinamide - 40mg
Vitamin D3 - 400 IU
Pantothenic Acid - 10mg

Damn, that took a while to copy down.

Anyways, I was wondering if it would be safe for an 18 year old to take one of these a day. Also, would it be safe to take 2000mcg of B12 with it which has 0.2mg Folic Acid?

Thanks in advanced.

As for the adult multivitamins you should be just fine, nothing in there would hurt you. The only difference being you might not derive the full benefit from them that someone of an older age would.

I'm not positive about that much B12, it seems like an awful lot to me, but maybe someone else has a more definitive answer. What I could recommend is a Vitamin B complex, it's great for stress, and you end up with a little more energy.

Hope this helps.

I take the ones for people over 50, have been since I was 18. I have never had a problem. So it's perfectly safe also if there's "more" vitamin its okay since you only absorb a minimal amount anyways. I have been taking those since I was 16.. you will be fine. Iron is the big one you have to look out for but again in pill form absorbtion is low so you will be fine.

I inject myself with b12 monthly... I just make sure to eat a bannanna every day because it *can* fuck with your potassium.. but I have been golden on it... The B12 in those multivitamins is fine... don't worry about it. If you want to talk about it feel free to message me!

I am wondering about a B complex vitamin myself... so I will be following this thread closely. If anyone has info PM me, I do not want to hijack his thread at all.
