The entire story lost it's credibility when it called Mephedrone a "Heroin Substitute."

The people writing the article didn't say that, it was some 16 year old girl that was friends with the kid that said that. The article does seems a bit sensationalized but this mephedrone shit definitely seems like a nasty drug.

Essentially you're saying to the gov't "Please, tell me what I can and can't do with my own life"

I think it's the other way around- we are bought up on the 'govt knows best' mantra, so that if something is legal we assume they know what is happening, and it's ok. This is the obvious drawback of the 'nanny state'.

Also, for years legal highs were shit, so that's what people expect. I got caught out with the JWH-018.

what worries me at the moment is how they are campaining against alchohol. If they screw with the laws on that, I think I will either emigrate or kill myself.
