Firstly, I'm on my iPhone, and am mid-trip. So shit is fucked.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure this is in the wrong forum, but I figured I'd get more feed back here...

I pose this - Bluelight should make an iPhone app. I'm not sure as to the logistics of making an app, but I could see a bluelight app would be amazingly helpful and awesome.

Gonna end this post right now because I'm trippin' hard and english is starting to escape me.

Ideas? Feedback?

Ps: sincerely apologize to mods if this is stupid.
 
Hahaha yeah true. But still, wouldn't it be a good idea? Like, have a button to link to an iPhone-able forum, a section/button for trip reports. So many ideas, but I can't type quick enough, buttons flying around the screen, fuck you Apple!

Would it take much time/money to make one?
 
I have no problems viewing BL with Safari on my iphone. With some different forums I use Opera.

This is the wrong forum for this too :)
 
I've also thought it'd be convenient before, but I imagine it'd take a fair amount of time and effort and I'm not convinced the demand would justify it
 
Sorry guys, wasn't sure what forum.

Also, on a re-think, not everyone has an iPhone, and the demand would be limited and wouldn't jusifty the $1.19 or $2.49 app charge.

Oh well. Maybe in the future.
 
My mate's brother is actually a few weeks away from completing an amazing "blue-light" APP.

Its gonna be fucking awesome and super easy and convenient to use!


He will be approaching moderators with this soon and it will be available through most popular app places..

I think pill reports could sure as hell use an iphone app. I can recall countless times having to try and get details on specific pills while out and about being a very slow and frustrating process. Meaning people rarely bother.

If there was an ipone app for it, well lets say the convenience really doesnt give people an excuse not to.

Bluelight may not be quite as phone friendly however but if there was an app for it, and I had an iphone. I'd probs use it.

End point. Probably told you this before, but put the fucking phone away while your tripping balls =P

Pillreports works perfectly with Safari on the iphone. Usually takes about 1 minute to use the search feature.
 
This has been addressed in Support previously, I think I'll be looking at integrating Tapatalk with BL in the near future. The amount of mobile traffic BL receives now certainly justifies more mobile options.

Ah, great. It's nice to know other people had the same thoughts as me, it's also good to know that the idea might be toyed with in the near future.

What's the mobile traffic like on BL?
 
I'd describe it as growing, which makes sense given the audience are quite young and technologically capable. While the majority still browse from desktops, it's certainly not a demographic that can be ignored. Our mobile skin is useful, but was originally designed for WAP phones. How quickly times change...

...I am aware it is bad form for a staff member to post in a thread and then close it, but this isn't about getting in the last word; there is an existing thread in Support to continue this discussion.
