Don't you guys have "heads" and "tails"? The "head" of the coin is the side with the pic of whichever president or queen or what have you, and the "tail" of the coin is the side with the animals and numbers (or in the case of the $2 coin, the Aborginal man + Southern Cross). Obviously you guys don't have any animals on your coins though

For me, the Bald Eagle's totem has been one of; perception, power, endurance..... while the Buffalo represents freedom, strength, and perseverance.
The kangaroo to me represents; supple leather, cuteness, and being able to double-kick the bottoms off nutsacks while going, "Oi, dropped your balls, mate!"
