^ most probbably was used in a few commercials, its a bit of an old one.... i remember it from tom green stuffing himself inside a deer carcas and dancing around in it on the movie freddy got fingered.
As far as surf goes im actualy in a mad surfing spot i just havnt been out there in a couple of years, This summer might be the time to start up again my kid is doing surf skills @ school so once my cardio is sufficient i think it would be a good thing to get back into, but if i were to paddle out now id probably drown the first time i got dumped8o

Friday night here... Anyone got anything interesting goin on tonite? I'l be tryin to chill i thinks%)

YES!!!! Hahahaha!! I remember that! Oh my god, so disturbing yet so hilarious.

I got a new computer monitor today, my first widescreen monitor. It's so clear and crisp! But my brain is still getting used to it. It looks a bit weird for some reason... :D

South East QLD is where i have been for the last 15 yrs, I grew up in Frankston VIC it was an asshole of a place pretty rough i kinda learned to have to hold my own from an early age... when i came up here on holiday i refused to return. It was kinda like wtf?! this place is paradise. Im never gonna live in the suberbs again... I'm sure u'l get used to that new monitor the way that things are advancing tech wise i wouldnt be suprised if it were a bit trippy:D
I'm gonna have to watch that movie tonite i think, The man is a freak but yes in a hilarious way.

When my boyfriend and I first started dating, I'd never seen Freddie Got Fingered before and he was like "Oh my god you HAVE to see it!!". So we watched it, and I loved it, and we watched it another 20 or so times over the proceeding 3 years....then I got sick of it :D
So I haven't seen it since 2007.
But I still love it :)

And yeah, give my brain a day or two and it will have acclimatised to the new screen :)

@n3o: Make sure that the refresh rate is as high as it will go. The default is just enough to cause eye strain, IME at least.

Ahhh good suggestion Dave! Thank you :)
My brain seems to be getting used to it. It's kinda like when you get a new pair of glasses, your brain needs a couple of days to acclimatise :)

luv it
just recently turned on to trance by new chick at work

Have you ever put your computer on a double screen mode? It feels like your brain might explode when first getting used to it!

^^ YES!!! My work computer has two screens so I know exactly what you mean! It's so weird at first huh! Especially when the mouse cursor goes from one screen over to the next :D
It's cool :)

Hey all :)
Drpooin into the social for a geez @ whats doin... Good to see you rangerz!! hot as hell again today just outta the pool done my laps a few pushups and a good walk today, drinkin this wierd mineral water called Ch'i got chinese herbals in it found it the other day and my greens intake is upto shit this stuff is packed with aloevera, goji berries, beetroot root and some others cant remember off the top of my head. Still feelin a bit shitty but better with every day that passes. Thinks it wont be long b4 all that nasty stuff is out of my system, just gotta maitnain the meds now and not over indulge for a bit too much relaxastion. Anyone got anything interesting goin on today/ tonite (depending on timezones)
??

@S.M.F.G. Years ago I got this little baby tree from an older Asian guy in my neighborhood that didn't speak English. I planted it and it was just kind of like a shrub that did nothing for a while but about 4 years ago it started producing these pretty oblong red berries---turns out it is a goji berry tree!

^^Going to meet friends for a movie tonight and then afterwards catch up on our lives--one just quit her band that she's played in for years, big life change--so just talktalktalk. They are good friends though and we don't see enough of each other so it feels good that we are making the effort. We all thought we would be seeing so much more of each other once our kids were grown but now we are all working more than ever trying to make ends meet.

I'm so glad that you are feeling better--keep up the greens!

@Carl--that sucks that you work so late on the weekends.
You need to bump the TDS pet thread with more pictures of your pooch! He is adorable!

@n3o--how's it going sweetie?

^ currently trying to chase down seeds of plants such as these, damn regulaions in Aus make it quite hard as nearly every fucking thing is banned/illegal or under restrictions. slow and steady wins the race but, Hope you have a good time catchin up with ur friends:) I'm on the night shift again damn kanna is tricky too little and ur alert, just enough gets you drowsy, but too much gets you some serious headache/nausea and worsens anxiety, Im leaning towardsthe fact ive not had enough so im wide awake and buzzin... but sleeps been terrible anyway so we'l see where the night takes me.
The net is full of cool shit so im not all that phased that im wide awake and ful of beanz:\

i seriously hope I didn't blow another apartment finding mission.
potential roomie seemed nice, place was average with good location.

i got real nervous and left after a few minutes, but i felt like an hour it was so awkward.
i never no what to say when I meet people, and just end up feeling like im going to puke.

^^ Yeah, I get like that sometimes, like if the person I'm talking to is a bit intimidating or if it's for something super important. So it's understandable you get like that kaywholed. It doesn't make it any easier though huh! Good luck with this new place, I really hope you get it <3

herby (can I call you herby??) I am doing good today hun, how are you?? <3
I'm feeling a bit bad cos I've spent most of this weekend on the computer when I have an exam on Wednesday that I have hardly studied for :|
But I have my nephew's 1st birthday party today so I'm excited about that!! He is such a precious boy, I will try to remember to take photos :)

What's everyone up to this evening? (assuming it's Saturday evening where most people are :))

SMFG - Regulations are not fun... <snip>

kaywholed - Try and google "questions you should ask a new roommate". More than anything it might be good to practice a few lines before hand.. including your greeting. Sometimes I don't know whether to say "Hi" or "How are you", do I shake their hand before or after saying it? It's a small thing but you might feel more confident if you go in with an algorithm to follow. JM2C

Saturday night...got a winter coat tonight, and a hunter green thin wool sweater. I put together my list of jobs to follow up on next week..I applied for 8 this week. My motivation is so high right now. I live with a friend with whom I was "romantic" for a few months. I recently told him I ONLY think of him as a friend..now I'm never home when he is though we have to share a bed. The whole apartment constantly smells like a factory because he works in one. He makes a habit out of lying in [our] bed in factory clothes.

So yes, motivation!! My spirits stay high in spite of it all. Every day or 2, though, I have to let the tears flow for a bit. Then pick myself back up, and apply for more jobs. :\

@Kaywholed-I hope you find something good soon. Try to to ask questions (and like Mami said, maybe think of them before) that puts more of the talking on them and you get to listen and observe more.

@Mami-- good to shed tears; I do it multiple times a day and I think it clears me out for a while and centers me in a weird way. Good luck with the job search. I always feel like I could make the best of any job but the looking and hoping and needing part is torture for me. I'll be sending good thoughts to both of you for housing and jobs.<3

@n3o-- I love "Herby"! It's where I got the name really only he spelled it with ie instead of y but no matter--it is the name of Caleb's big rabbit whose picture I will post when I get home tonight--I wanted to bump the pets thread anyway because I love seeing everybody's animal pals. (Wooger, if you are reading this we need pics!) I'm glad you are doing well. When does school end and what are your plans for your no-school time?
