TDS Social Thread vs. Badfish has stayed up too late

Boneless wings are good.. Have u ever heard of wingzone? They're good as hell, 25 flavors..

Man, I'm starving now.
 
I've never heard of Wingzone, I've only ever been to Hooters for wings and I wasn't impressed with the service, food, or the girls :|

I just ate a roll of Town House crackers, now I'm going to pop myself some popcorn & pour myself a glass of sprite. I have to stop reading this thread it's making me too hungry =D
 
I have an SLR-type quick question for my TDS folks...

So I've been hanging out with my best female friend on a near-daily basis for about six weeks now. So far we've just been platonic friends, but I have feelings for her. Typically we hug a lot, and every time she takes me home after we hang out, we hug briefly in her car before I get out. Anyway, today I was having a bit of a neurotic moment in her kitchen and she made a sarcastic comment along the lines of '"sometimes I wonder about you..." as she walked up to me and then kissed me real quick on my cheek, then walked away (she was also talking on the phone while doing this). Then a bit later her father comes home and compliments the fact that we are sitting on separate couches (yes, we are in our late twenties). She says "dad, don't worry, RL's just my friend. We're friends." (And she will often at other times make comments that really make me feel 'friend-zoned.') Then an hour after that, she takes me back home. We have our routine hug in the car, but right after the hug she briefly kisses me on my right temple. Oh man, this gave me some serious butterflies!

But anyway, what's going on? What reasons could there be that she's suddenly giving me these non-lips kisses? How should I respond?
 
Looks like a greenlight to me. If shes kissing you while you two are alone, seems to me she waiting for you to initiate.

You may want to talk to her b4 making any moves and see how she really feels about u..you don't want to ruin your friendship by making any rash moves on her. I'm totally not trying to discourage you here, but maybe she's just that comfortable in ur friendship..how long have u guys been friends?
Anyways I hope things work out 4 u, that butterfly feeling is gr8 enjoy it..

^ That's what my head wants to do, but I've just heard a lot of women say that they are turned-off by men asking permission to kiss, etc. That it takes away the passion of the moment. I don't plan to respond to this by trying to have sex with her. I guess maybe just other little subtle things like non-lips kisses that I can also do in part of a 'prelude to the first real intimacy.' I love the dance of flirtation, so if she's going to kiss my face like this, what other things can I do to continue the dance? Things to say, ways to touch, etc. Subtle stuff that can fly under the radar so as to not be too distracting, but erotic enough to drive her mad.

Also them women are somewhat right, but just being randomly kissed romantically by a good friend, that's sketchy.. Not knowing her personality.. I mean, if it were me, ya I'd still be friends w/ dude, but if I didn't feel that way about him, I'd be uncomfortable hanging out w/ them.. I'd feel like I was leading them on, which I couldn't do..

small touches, kiss her on the cheek(she's clearly ok w/ that), hell maybe even go out somewhere where a lot of contact is required, you can never compliment a woman enough..
 
I watched the first episode, but that's it. I need to try it again. Hmmmm...I think I know what I'll be doing over winter break =D

You @ least have to give the whole first season a chance.. 1st couple seasons are good, then ehhh, and now they're getting better again.. I believe the less then par seasons though were when michael hall had cancer, but don't quote me on that 1.
 
past few weeks have been rough. this past weekend was terrible and I didn't want to be able to wake up to go back to work at the end of it.

tonight I got back to eating healthy and doing exercise. I also arranged a date for sunday, and got a potential gig offer after 6 months of nothing...

I am reminded that in it is pitch dark before you strike the match to light the lantern...
 
The law and me

I don't like to talk to the law. However, while smoking in the back of my vehicle, preparing to sleep for awhile, I was interrupted by a police officer.

His partner was a K9.

I took out my recommendation letter and my ID and gave them to the officer. He asked if I had anything on me and I said I had just finished a joint and was going to have a nap. He asked if I smoked with a pipe or papers. I said papers. He asked if I had ever been arrested, I said no.

He said he thought I had more and he could search my car. I said nothing. He said he was being serious. I said nothing. He said I was DUI since my key was in my ignition. I said nothing. He repeated that he was serious. I said I know you are serious.

He said he would let me go ahead and sleep, but that was the only time. If we met again under the same circumstances, he would get a search warrant.

He left.

I waited about five minutes. I left.

He seemed to want to hassle me. I didn't want to be hassled.

I am SO lucky. It was beyond luck. I was truly protected.

I've actually enjoyed all of the seasons so far. I'm on 4 and I really like it so far, I thought 3 was by far the weakest but I still think they're all great

Extremely lucky!
 
Start my new job today. Well the training was yesterday and needless to say it ended a bit frustrating but it's nothing big, I'm excited to start. I have about 30 hours this week :)
