i ripped a toe nail out yesterday and it hurts like hell.

I did this a few years ago 'cause the nail was dead and bleeding on the underside. I was quite drink and just ripped it right off (my big toe), not expecting the flood of blood that would come afterward. I later had to go to a podiatrist so that he could cut off the itty bit that was still alive (ouch!!!!).

I didn't have a toenail for at least half a year and walked with a limp for a week or so. *shudder* I feel your pain, man. Literally.:(

I wore socks all winter to stop myself from ripping my nails out, but come summer and no socks weather, once I get a bit stressed the opportunity is there. I doesn't hurt for a day or so, then it throbs. i wanted to have toenails so i could wear sandals and not feel like a retard with bloody toes.

CH you are gonna be SO happy when it is finished bro and you see the mountains dip into the vellley of palms n nuggies :D

Hi friends! While we're on the subject... I worked one summer in London and ditched to Deutschland - Koln - at the tail end. I learned more German in 2 wks, than I did the 5 yrs before. The people were so friendly and loved when tourists made even the slightest attempt to speak their language. I always made up words I didn't know. For example, I needed a light and didn't know how to say matches, so I asked, 'Bitte, haben Sie die kleine Feuerstuchen?'. The guy cracked up. (What is the word for match, anyway?)

^LMAO

'Das Streichholz'? ...er... but I think that is a Sports Match, 'Das kleinholz' is kindling(if you were that desperate for a smoke!) Besides 'Die Kleine Feuerstuchen' sounds way better IMO =D

Feuerstucken! I love it; I'll mention that one to my relatives the next time I see them.

Honestly, I don't smoke, so I've never bothered to learn the word for match or fire. If I had to, I'd probably just ask for some fire please. :)

'Bitte, haben Sie die kleine Feuerstuchen?'

"Bitte, haben Sie ein Zündholz?" ;)

Aber "eine kleine Feuerstuchen" ist sehr suβ und komisch :)

I want to live in Germany too! Berlin to be precise. I've even looked in to uni exchange programs and apartments to rent and stuff hehehe.
