Met some awesome people at a rave last night. It got shut down early (they said lack of profit? didn't make sense why that should end it early) but it was worthwhile just for having been able to meet these people. Hardcore can be very tiring to dance to, but it's great given the right mood!

It's quite amazing the people that I meet when I remain receptive to it. There's a lot of really good people out there.
 
insurance, maybe they were renting the space per hour and called it quits at a point, security EMS cops, a particular deejay... or the "audio dynamics" guy running and renting the equipment was tiered -lol


better then lights turning on and a every one being told to sit down, because the glow sticks binkies, vics and vics mask:-D, and some places bottled water was considered paraphernalia, because people drank it to heighten the experience of mdmx's

LOL...well I actually went outside with somebody for a bit and when we tried to go back in that door there was a giant metal wall locking us out! We had to find a different entrance, and then all the lights were turned on and they were asking everybody to leave. A quick turn of events!

I suck at math.. It's like understanding a new fun card game that everyone is playing, and i've yet to understand the rules lol.
when i was in that christian/rehab, we couldn't have anything 'secular". I convinced them to let me keep my college algebra math book.
everyday i'd read it, over and over, answering questions, checking my answers. it got to the point where i was doing it during any free time i had. it consumed me..

i have a math addiction. I wouldn't mind learning some of the more advanced math courses.
 
^^ Try statistics man. It took me a good solid 6 months before it really clicked in my brain and I "got it", but once I understood the concepts I was right as rain :)

But seriously, I love hardcore. Even though I don't rave anymore I still listen to hardcore/gabber every now and then :)

Ahhh memories of raves getting shut down for various random reasons. Good times good times =D

Yeah I agree hardcore is great, one of my favorites for dancing to.

^ ayyyyy about that bro !!! Read my thread , I can't believe my luck sometimes - I just ripped my arm bracelet off - 3 hours in ER 4 hours in waiting room, 2 doses of methadone, one fucker smoking a cigg = back here with t-minus .... too little time before I dunno where I'll be.

Luckily, I'm a cocky fuck and I think worst case I just am dope sick and my family sees that no matter what I still want them back. And I do get to spend another day with tristan =D!!!!!
 
Thanks n3o! I don't really know that many hardcore DJ names, I can't say I use it for home listening very often :) But I remember a rave way back with Neophyte (ha!) and The Horrorist. Yesterday was Rob Gee who seems quite funny

ty bro - I am thinking the vivitrol shot as soon as I can will be my best bet. I'd love to have everythng work out how I want it to. Reality, I've been on phones 24/7 and in an out of ERs /crisis center workers/ detoxes. I am thinkng (esp seeng how little success I've been having) I will simply eliminate the major branch of troubles from the tree of my life. With a perm blocker in place - i know that further treatmen / stability will be do and *goose bumps* i'll start to learn how o livellll

It's okay haha! And yeah I haven't cried to disney movies in awhile but I never watch them nowadays. Yeah, the lion king was so sad! Last time I watched that was in elementary though.
 
^^ Yep, I cry at the drop of a hat during movies, like ALL the time :D Even in shit movies, like last night I watched How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days (it was on TV and there was nothing else on and I was drunk, okay! =D) and I may have shed a tear when they finally got together at the end and it all worked out for the best etc. Ahhh so lame, but happy endings rock :)

Not that there's anything wrong with that of course.

Also, check out Endymion, Ophidian, Paul Elstak, Angerfist, Outblast, Catscan, Korsakoff, Tommyknocker....I could go on ;)
Most of them are Dutch, they are certainly doin it right when it comes to hardcore/gabber :)
 
I've noticed the activity on BL tends to slow down on the weekends...the opposite of many other boards. Is it because many BLers spend their weekends too fucked up to type? ^_^

good eye! yeah, it does drop but you'll see some 3am 4am EST posts start popping. I always figured folks were just out getting their thing on
