^Why don't you ask a TDS Mod- or the Mod in question BY PM.

The difference between a Blog and thread is thta a Blog is more you writing out your feelings, thoughts, whatever you want- and a thread is for discussion.
If you have updates, like one thread of yours that was recently closed, you can post it in a Blog or you can post it in TDS's Check In thread.
We don't need 10 threads created by one person just for that person to give updates on their life.
Things get very carried away when that happens.
