He really is the most gorgeous baby I've ever met...not that I'm biased or anything...but hey, he really is cute huh!
Like, objectively speaking, that is one good-lookin' kid right there...

Aaww swilow gorgeous! And we match! Except my dog's a rottweiler/bull mastiff. Not as hairy as yours - what is he/she?

He's a rottweiler; though I'm sure he has Golden Retriever in him too. Its hard tom tell, he's long-haired (longhaireds are normally "culled" ) luckily Henry made it. He's got a bid bushy tail too! Its sad, he's quite defensive (which, with a rottie, comes out as agression) because he was mistreated before he found me....Nowdays he gets so much love and pats and walks and cuddles, but we can't quite break through his old worries. He's fine with me and Miss Swilow, but needs me to be with him if theirs other people around. A nervous nellie is old Henry.

Heres a shot of him with his favorite plastic, liver-flavored (wtf??) bone-toy.

Not a huge fan of camera's- he tends to assume they are going to 'get him', plus he's so dark he often looks like a big pile of shadows... Evil eyes :D

Aw-aw-awww he sounds so much like Sam. Look at 'dem big paws!^ Sam was mistreated before he found me too. Except he's not as nervous as you say Henry is, he just jumps at almost everything- including shadows, and a tall strand of grass- and there're particular men who can't get anywhere near him without being growled at (out of sheer terror form Sam's side). And anything new he's really worried about til he discovers its ok. BUt he's the most loyal, loving, snuggly, peaceful creature.

He has a tail too
