I went to an Obama rally this morning. I've seen him before, but it was awesome to see him the day before election day. Lots of excitement in the air. :)

Spork, that's cool. In the UK I think the consensus is Obama's doing a decent job in difficult circumstances, seems not to get the respect or the breaks he deserves ( with a good bit of sabotaging from the Right to make sure of that! ). Is the feeling that he's done enough to win now? Romney seems adept at shooting himself in the foot lately. We look at Romney and think surely you guys learned your mistake with Bush FFS, you want another cypher like him at the helm? Least Obama seems to have some genuine principles and scruples. Things like that is what we think! ;)
 
im sure spork will agree since we live in the same state, i will be glad that its over tomorrrow. if you guys only knew how many stupid political ads are on the tv here. the last month there has been no commercials only political ads. its been like that in this state for the past 2 years with first the governor recall elections and senate and now for the past year the presidential one. 2 years of that crap finally coming to a end lol

Me too lol, I was kind of going out on a limb posting that one, but yeah. Northern lights ftw, and I'm gonna have to google Jeff Daniels 8) regardless, Michigan does have some nature- related perks, plus

i go up to da u.p. all time..under the bridge does have some nature related perks but its up in da u.p. where those perks really show. esp the northern lights and stars in general. no big city lights up there to drown out the stars...
 
I am so nervous tonight. I went to the gym at 10pm just to get some of this nervous energy out. PLEASE don't let that right wing angry hawk be my country's president in the morning. *crosses all fingers and even ankles for good measure*
 
^Or mine. He's our President too you know here in the 51st State whether we like it or not, and we don't even get a chuffin' say in the matter! That's not democracy, is it? ;) Look what the Bush / Blair ticket did to us. Have some sympathy, please! Brits for Team Obama! =D

Ugh, I haven't been up there in so long, I miss it. Maybe I'll go up there with some of the paid vacation days I've been banking :)

Herbie, I'm nervous too. I would vote green party, unfortunately if Romney won, I wouldn't be able to live with myself for 'wasting a vote'. Ugh

pastel, since our state has such a huge margin for the democratic candidate, my son was going to cast his vote for either the Green party or the Peace and Freedom Candidate and I was so nervous I was flipping out saying, "what if 10,000 people in this state think the same way?"
