TDS Photo Thread Vs '12-'13 !!!!!

Yeah I was leaning towards a staffie, specially with the brindle colour but couldn't quite make out how big she is and a bit unusual to see full prick pointy ears on a staff, they're more commonly half-prick or rose ears aren't they. My sis has had staff's going on 20 years, staffie rescue dogs. Onto her second now but he's not got long left, 12 now, bit overweight and slowing right down, hasn't got the speed or the stamina he once had. Both dogs as good an example as you'll ever see of the breed and friendly as can be, soft as putty but fiercely loyal. Would die for you in a heartbeat and think nothing of it.

The rep they have is totally undeserved. Can do a lot of damage if they go for sure and can be naturally dominant with other dogs but not in their temperant to go for humans at all really, they love people and adore kids, just eager to please wanting some rough and tumble. Occasional horror stories in the press about attacks on children can almost always be laid at the feet of their owners, 9 times out of 10 pretty obvious the dog's been mistreated and not been trained or supervised properly around people it might see as a threat, winding it up into snapping almost in panic. I hate that they've become status dogs for chavtastic idiots don't give a fuck about the dog or the damage it can do so long as it looks an aggressive meathead they can impress their equally idiotic mates with. They're ruining the breed and the bloody dog. Wankers! :!

There's some bad people about and they seem attracted to Staffies. Ours probably isn't 100% staffie (hence the ears) but we're not bothered about that anyway.

Apologies everyone for derailing the thread, nice pics on here :)

I think you'll find it was me started derailing the thread actually asking about the dog in the first place and you just got suckered into talking to me so if there's any apologising to be done I'll do it. I think we got away with it though, so that's good. All gravy I reckon. Pfffffft! =D

Serotonin Congratulations, man!!!!! I am so, so thrilled for you. (((((<3)))))

@skagkush--I've never tried that look for vacuming the house--does it get the job done better? (your shirt LOL) =D You look great btw--happy and healthy and positive.

@ninevah--great smile!

@ LotsofDogs--what a sweetie! We have a pets thread here in TDS too so don't be shy about photobombing the hell out of it--we all do!<3

here are some pictures from my trip home from visiting my family up north. Of course I see everything as a metaphor so here goes:

When the everything disappears in front of you and you cannot see anything in the future, look down at the road right in front of you and trust!

Because behind everything that you can see, outside of your whole reality is the eternal reality that is life. And life is strong! Hang on, have faith and keep going.

And everything becomes clear again. It was always there. The whole majestic miracle is always there whether you lose sight of it temporarily or not. The only thing that you can ever lose is faith. Hold the wheel and keep driving forward!:)<3

Love and faith and hope to everyone.<3
