sorry no pics from me guise. phone camera is messing up. :/ don't have a "real" camera (I pawned mine a few years ago)

wow .... freaking beautiful!!!! looks straight out of a nat geo or something!

Thankyou!! Just a iPhone camera with a filter thrown over it, but it turned out well I think lol.

Ya I think there is someone in the distance.. just a speck :P

I hope you sampled the Pálinka there! Wonderful stuff =D

Haha, I did indeed.. various flavors of the stuff :) Along with lots of goulash.

Wow--so many gorgeous pictures! I love this thread. I love it that all my beloved TDS community, struggling with whatever they are struggling with, get up and out there every day to celebrate life by seeing the beauty and taking the time to record it and share it.

Goonbag, I often wish I had a place to visit that was marked like that. I chose the ocean for my son because he loved it and was certainly born of it in some larger way. that is a beautiful photo and I hope that you felt the peace that is conveyed in the picture. I think allowing the sadness its rightful place in the heart is what brings the peace.

Volundir--that is a city and country that I would love to see. Thank you so much for posting. I hate to be greedy, but are there more?;)

Pastel
, your photo is mind boggling. You have to get up early to see that! When we were driving up to Oregon, we passed through the most gorgeous (and scary) snowstorm in the mountains and then descended a couple thousand feet and it was as if it never happened. But this did:

My brother-in-law risks life and limb getting out to his floating dock to feed the wood ducks that migrate here in the winter. Yesterday the ramp between land and the dock cracked and sunk while he was on it and he fortunately jumped back to land without going in the river. This morning he used his rowboat to get out to the dock and replenish the food. these guys are really flighty and hard to get a picture of, but thanks to my little zoom, I got one. :)

I'm afraid I was just quoting Malakaix's photo, so I won't be able to share any of Budapest I'm afraid but I do fancy sharing some of my photos from the last few months:

Herbavore, the Sun is in the west in that picture, it was probably taken around four pm. However, that story about your brother in-law is really cool, did he end up getting wet through all of that?
