Michael, did you happen to see that little star that was right next to the moon on the evening of the 22nd? What was that? I've seen Venus close, but never that close!

jupiter! the conjunction is a big thing right now. they won't be this close for another 13 years.

Wow, thank you. Did you get any pictures of it? I just walked a friend outside to her car and looked up and we both were sure we had never seen anything look so close to the moon.

In the Blue Mountains, about 40 minutes from my place near Sydney. Such a great spot, its called The Kings Table land.
