^^ Ooooh prettyyy.
Pendulum, gorgeous kitty photos hun!!
Yep, Ocicats are reasonably rare (due to specific breeding programs) and expensive, in fact the chances that your kitty is an Ocicat are pretty slim. Those types of cat breeds come with their pedigree papers and don't usually just get "given away" due to the price people pay for them, you would know if it was an Ocicat
The tricky thing about cat breeds is a lot of them look the same, and even a lot of plain old moggies can look like purebred cats but aren't. For example, one of my cats looks like a silver marbled Bengal, but I know he's just a regular old cat. And one of my best friend's cats is this huge fluffy boy who looks exactly like a Maine Coon, but we found him with his litter mates on the street when they were just a few days old so we know he's just a regular cat
Same goes for fluffy kitties, it's just a long-haired version of a regular cat, rather than a mixture of a purebreed.
Actually, this Maine Coon looks exactly like my friend's cat!!
Then again, a name is just a name and you can call them whatever breed you want!! :D
But technically it's really unlikely that they're a particular breed/crossbreed.
