no i bought it today, but they will live for years, this one had no flowers but a lot of buds, so it will be blooming through out the summer. i have two more that are dormant now, it is their winter, one will be cut into two, both root pruned, and my phalenopus(sp) needs work on its cane.
so now, they will vary, some blooming while some are winterized.
hopefully next year ill have like six or eight on a drip line.
i dont think that particular orchid would be so flattering hehe, the phalenopus would... odd name gorgeous flower, the most beautiful?!?
the full oncinium, the yellow buds will be bright yellow 1.5' flowers with a large lower petal, and two smaller ones on top with copper tones and black blotches, i dont know if they are aromatic, the nobile drenobium is very aromatic and delicious smelling, i need to divide that, or try, soon. ill be able to divide the oncinium this winter, and hopefully flower three others through the winter. that's the phalen. in the bag with the clay pebbles, shes a beaut, i can sit and stare for a while... plus lots of pics, worth every penny.
