I discovered scarves last winter, and now I just LOVE them to death. I made one for myself ages ago when I was just learning to knit, and while it is generally way too long for normal use-- nearly two meters-- I still use it sometimes. Big 'ol chunky knitted anything is awesome in my books.

In short: that's a great looking scarf! Looks so comfy. I've got to get back into knitting one of these days.

^And you knit too?! :D

Ocean does make the bestest scarves. Looking awesome as always, n3o!

FF, I saw that awesome pic, you're both so beautiful and my congrats once again :) Welcome back to Amurrikuh. Skip off a bit north and west to visit me! <3

@ PIP-- Jaysis. I don't even want to think about how much sugar that would have to have to make that anything close to palatable. Oy. Plus it's hyooooooge! Personally, I find a cup of good joe, or a well-made soy latte (or espresso if the barista really knows what they're doing) does the trick well enough for me.

@Mari-- Yup. Just a basic stitch, but I've been meaning to get back into it and learn some more complex stuff. I have a pattern for a knit hoodie that I'd love to make before winter, and a nice, chunky (or maybe really fine?) cowl. Ages ago I used to crochet and cross-stitch, but I've forgotten how to do the former and don't have the patience for the latter. (Oh, and I'm learning how to sew too)

I spent most of today on my bike, taking a fuckton of photos. Once separate the chaff, I'll drop a few here.

anaphylactic?

oh, im a barista who knows what he's doing ;) im just hooked to the gills on these also. i prefer 4 shots with half & half and ice in a 16 or 20oz cup, 2 shots with a dollop of cream and a peligrino, or very dry cappuccinos.

those nos drinks sooth my stomach more then promethazine when im out of mmj, and going through nausea. they have a good amount of fruit juice in them too, those and some red bull are the only energy drinks that don't give me gut-rot.... uhg.

the caffeine in good tea effects me the most, i can have a quad shot, and go back to bed, mmj is what perks me up in the morning...! weird huh? :p

Nawww hun that is such a sweet photo!!! <3
I hope everything works out for you guys as soon as possible. I'm in a long-distance relationship at the moment as well, and we've been together for 6.5 years. He's only just started working away from home in the last 2 months, and before that we'd hardly gone a DAY without seeing each other in 6 whole years!! So it's really hard. I really feel for you hun, having to do the long-distance thing. But you WILL get through it!!! <3

Here is a photo of the gorgeous scarf the beautiful ocean made for me <3
I have been wearing it ALL day, literally not taken it off once. Saw me through my statistics exam and all :)

What's odd is I have a huge thing for scarfs. I alone have 2 Burberry cashmere scarves amongst others. I love wearing it with my full length cashmere coat. It makes for a lot warmer winters than without them.

Caffeine not only does a number on my stomach, it insights panic attacks, jittery hands and makes my head twitch work. Speaking of my head twitches, they prescribed me cogentin for them and I'm not sure if its really doing its job. My next course of action is to make an appointment with my PCP and asking for a referral to a neurologist to see if they can pinpoint the problem. There's nothing worse than the days when my head twitching is out of control because it drives my anxiety up, which in turn drives up my depression. So this is something I really want to get a hold on, before some serious damage is done. I hadn't started getting these head twitches before my first suicide attempt when I drank a ton of booze and swallowed a full script of klonopin, but all I really want is to get to the bottom of it.

yeah, i know the feeling :| im sure your doc will give the referral. so, you've been trying different meda for this? and you are running out? it seems the klonopin would try.

have you ever taken visteral for this? sounds like some serious"brain zaps", i wonder if bio feed back or hypnosis would be helpful. my body goes through this, my head will go from left to right then my body will ' jump', i kind of black out for that moment as well.

this has happened as long as i can remember, and i take between 4-6 mgs klonopin a day too.

staying o/t cheese!!!

Yeah, I'm also prescribed visteral, but for anxiety. I take 100mgs about every 4 hours. Cogentin and visteral are actually kinda structurally pretty similar as visteral is an antihistamine, while cogentin is a fusion of an antihistamine and the tropine section of atropine.

aye, what about lyrica, or gabapentin, they would slow down those neutrons, i wonder how you would react to methadone, or high doses of motrin.

the hypno therapist and bio feed back would be interesting, so would medical marijuana, but your anxiety maybe a problem. it shatters my agoraphobia, and g.a.d. by throwing me into a state of highnsite, or a third person perspective.

are you taking any other meds?

I'm on 80mgs of Geodon, 1mg of Cogentin, 1mg of Klonopin, and 100mgs Vistaril every 4 hours. The Geodon helps a bit with my anxiety, but instead of only taking it once a day, I'm going to ask my psychiatrist if I can take two doses a day, because once noon comes around my anxiety attacks me something wicked. These are like the 6th type of meds I've tried over the last 7 months, and I'm just hoping that sometime soon they'll come up with something that works. I do feel that my anxiety slips away (even if for only a few hours) soon after I talk to my therapist, but that's only once a week. I'm cynical in thinking that I've already used my allotted amount of fun for my life already and that I'm going to be stuck this way for the rest of my life, but we shall see.

my idea of fun changed drastically as the pain increased, and my capabilities were explained to me...

you will adapt to the change, nothing is normal so this will be, most of the time. you certainly have to develop a new sense of humor towards life, and a new respect for irony and fate.
