bump foar moar pet thread love.

My dog Belle what can I say about this creature I love so much. She gave me (or "graced" me) one single kiss with a lick of her tongue and scraped her tongue on her teeth as she was pulling it back into her mouth.

Why does my dog hate me so much? Why does she find me grotesque? It is really doing a number on my self esteem these days since dogs are supposed to love their humans unconditionally. How can this make any sense?

Belle doesn't care.

We get about 15-20 parrots in the group...They come evry day for a bit of bird seed...They are very funny and have personalities!....My doggie is wonderfull...All that love...I wouldnt be here if i didnt have him i am very sure of that...He was all i had last year, when several terrible things happened in my life...I just love him to bits!...He and I can communicate just by looking at each other.

Hey guys, just out of personal curiosity...Do any of you have dogs with ....ummmmm....vacuum fetishes?...My dog hears the vacuum start up and bolts in going crazy and proceeds to annoy the bejesus outa me untill i vacuum him!...He sits there, dead still, and anyone would think he was getting a portrait done, the way he sits with his little chest stuck out...Its the weirdest thing ive seen in ages...He will roll over and want his belly sucked...I can suck his tail up to the hilt and he loves it!! Hes not scared at all, though it will hurt/startle him if im not careful and get an ear or something...Does anyone else have a dog that loves being vacuum'd?

Dogs are amazing. I love my two. The only thing on my Facebook is a bajillion million pictures of my two dogs. People from high school and whatnot are probably like woah <_<.

That's so weird about him loving the vacuum. I vacuum my two dogs during shedding season and they don't particularly like it but they'll sit frozen still until I'm done. I've never heard of a dog that loved it. What a funny little quirk.

A funny quirk my dog Belle does, is because she's a little dog her tongue is really small so sometimes when she's licking my face she'll accidentally stick it up my nose. Her face is absolutely hilarious. You can tell she's grossed out at that moment because her eyes go into some panic stricken cross eyes gaze and she pulls her tongue really slow back into her mouth while scraping it on her upper teeth. I've tried to get it on camera but no luck. Dogs are so funny.

I've even never heard of people vacuuming their dogs, let alone the dog actually liking it SO cute!!! :D

^^^ Thank you (I think hahaha)...

I will try and get him on my phone video doing it ..It wont be hard to get Little to do it, it will be hard for ME TO WORKOUT MY PH TO DO IT!!!!

He is bugging me right now as i type this to vacuum him!!! It started out that he was scared of the vacuum, then i played with him a bit with the nozzle, then it just happened that i was actually vacuuming him...NOW its a pain almost!...He goes nuts when i say the word!!!!

I would love to see the toungue thing too!!!...I had a dalmation that used to smaile at you...It was very weird and scared many many people...He was just kinda grinning with his teeth barred but not in an agro way...He would sort of snap his teeth and grin at you!...Snake bit and killed him...He was up in the bush and got bit, by the time he got home all the poison was spread and he made it home just to die in my arms...Had him 12 years....Swore i wouldnt get another dog...At that time i honestly felt i was better to have Not loved and not lost, than it was to love and lose a dear friend...BUT 10 years later here i am with my 2 year old Aussie terrier/jack russle, matlise terrier cross mutt!~!!!!

Oh and while i vacuum him, he fleas me!!!! Sooo cute...anyone else get flea'd by their pooch?

OMG Miss Kirsty!!! The story about your Dalmatian! I am so sorry! I fear that exact same thing! I recently moved to Florida from New Jersey, I'm not sure if you're from the US, if not Florida is close to the equator so it's a very tropical climate (it's also a fairly newly inhabited state so it still has a lot of the native wildlife) and New Jersey is a colder climate so in Florida we have a lot more dangerous animals like poisonous snakes, poisonous spiders, wild cats, hawks, fire ants. I am so scared to even let my dog outside in the yard unsupervised. All I can picture is me leaving him outside while i'm showering or something and I come outside to his carcass swarmed with fire ants or something. It's so terrifying. I am so used to urbanized city life. Moving to this newly charted Florida land is kinda scary.

And TINK I looove her!! A spaniel of some type? Papillons (my two dogs) are actually the only toy spaniel breed. You'll notice on Belle's snout and paws she has the spaniel tick marking. They are also the only spaniels with erect ears. That's why their ears are so big they are supposed to be floppy ears. What is your girl? Baheautiful tan eyes. So soulful! Please keep us updated and post in here more often!

Yes 8 month old cocker spaniel. We are trying to get into doggie modeling and acting. We have been doing agility and trick training. The above photo was submitted for a photo contest for a dog food company's 2013 calendar. We will know monday if she was selected as one of the finalist that will go up for public voting. So I may need al my lovely BL's help in making her the winner.

Also my boyfriend and I look through pet finder from time to time for a Papillon that catches our eye. We recently found this guy

We were just talking about how Paps are always mainly white and how we'd love a black one and low and behold I glance through pet finder tonight and see this little guy. I emailed the shelter. If they email me back he may be ours. Wish us luck.

He looks exactly like a black Belle, right?

I wonder if my dog has this breed in him also....I think they look similar around the ear and my dogs body is same as the fantastic black beauty above...Little foot has about 8 diffrent breeds in him!!

I adore my dogs. They are the center of our life. I am sure when we have kids, our kids will fill that place and our dogs will have to take a step back. But for now they are our everything. I woke up this morning to the two of them sleeping between us. They are lazy and don't usually get up unless I address them formally and ask them if they want to go outside. So I ask them and they get up and do their typical morning routines like stretches and kisses and yawns. I lourveee them so. What in the world did I do to deserve unconditional love from the most cutest thing on the planet.

I love how dogs do that :D So sneaky! But so adorable haha.
My doglet sleeps with me every night....under the top cover (not quite under the sheets). Even if I don't LET him in there, he eventually snuggles himself in

I am so excited! We are adopting the black puppy I posted! He will be available for us to pick up on Thursday! We are going to be driving 480 miles to get him. Pictures coming soon!
