I put the following post in Gibberings (mods feel free to delete that post if you wish and I apologise for the duplication), I just thought that if I made this a thread I may attract more responses. But also whilst saying that, instead of making this a thread about my idea I thought that maybe I'll create a thread where we can discuss our tattoos, designs we're interested in, reasons why we've had a tattoo and what-not. It may not be a successful thread n if not I apologise in advance but ha-ho let's try this and see what comes of it.

Edit: The reason I'm asking for people to put NSFW tags is because some people have expressed issues with slow connections, loading stuff on mobile phone, older computers etc and so it's basically consideration for them! (Mods, if I'm outta line for requesting this, please feel free to delete this section off.)

Advice needed or preferably help from someone who could maybe design me something for a new tattoo concerning an inner battle of, tranquillity, serenity and inner-peace with anger, bitterness and drama.

Anyone good at tattoo designs / art etc I'm asking for some help, inspiration or whatever.

I want a tattoo with the PEACH logo, or some sort of peace design against my darker self with is full of anger, bitterness, drama etc. So I want to have a tattoo that represents that battle within me. Was thinking of some bubbles like the logo's in the sea of tranquillity and serenity (obviously I have those words so I can't have them again). Want the word PEACE within the design but somehow I'm thinking thick black smoke like as if the anger and bitterness is trying to choke out the good somehow but within the peace logo I want something to represent strength, fight and determinism to success and not let evilness consume and succeed.

Anyone who's seen my tattoos will that most of them represent some sort of spiritual reasoning; the battle between positivity and negativity. I have one on my back that says MAGNETIC VIBRATIONS in magnets (the physics magnets used in school but I changed the red to pink, of course) to represent the fight between them both and the lightening bolts between the magnets are representing the vibes.

This one is similar but more personal and more current. Plus my believe is that everything is one whilst everything is opposite. Would love to put my thoughts to paper and write a book about that someday.

Thanks.

I've been looking at these designs. Much awful and boring.... There's one with two fingers up as a peace sign so maybe I may think of something like that instead? Or a peace sign but done in roses or butterflies or something? C'mon peeps it says there's a few views give us some help with ideas if you can.

Also I made this thread for others who are wishing to have a new tattoo, trying to find a design etc etc....

Could anybody here design a tree of life for my to place on the side of my torso (from armpit to hip)
It shouldn't look dead, but also not soft.

It represents the lifelong growth since you learn all your life, energy of life and my family used to be called BEAM (frysian for tree) formed by the first letters of our first names, until my father passed away

Might come as a surprise but I actually have 3 tattoos, one of which cost rather a lot of money. Money I now wish I had for drugs, but that's another story, I still love my tattoos. I didn't draw any of them myself as I am shit at drawing, just told my tattoo artist my ideas and he did the design. Any decent one should. Doubt I'll get another one any time soon because again, money better spent on other things, but I still think well done tattoos are lovely.

And no, I'm not getting my tats out for the same reason I don't post pictures of myself publicly. But someone else should ;)

Because you don't have any tattoos & you are a fat 50 year old man? (I am a responsible-ish moderator ... this is an in-joke)

Nah, why would that be a surprise? You're right. My tattooist is one of the best in the country and designs my stuff for me... I tell him what I want and he does it.... What tattoos do you have?

Because I don't look like the typical person that would have tattoos. Too little and girly :P I don't look like a typical drug user either, which I can only see as a good thing.

I've got one on my foot of a cat, a half sleeve with birds and flowers and shit, and a bat on my ribs. Ribs and feet are painful, would not recommend. Fortunately those 2 didn't take long.

I've about 11 tattoos...

I don't recommend having them on suboxone.... the most traumatic experience ever and I used to be queen of pain.... OK maybe that was SLIGHTLY exaggerated.... but suboxone has enhanced any pain I have.... damn that stuff!

my advice is to not seek any feedback whatsoever when it comes to the general theme or appearance of a tattoo.

for me, a tattoo is a very personal thing. look inwards for your inspiration.
