Tatoos

Damn! I'm seeing a lot of posts and blogs about people getting ink. I really want another!!!

I'm kinda diggin' this one:

But would like a stronger emphasis on the pentagram such as this:

I think some symbolic representation of the elements (earth, air, fire, water, akasha) at their respective points would be cool.

Man, I need a J-O-B!!!!!

I Love this idea!
I wanted a celtic cross but short sides, ya know? The real cross ;)
And I wanted the elements (earth air fire water) written in the lines, and the seasons in the circle.....in the quadrants.

I also wanted to get my astrological chart.

My husband is not for me getting tattoos and I REAAAAALLLLLLY want like 5 more! hahaha

I have two tattoos now, one is a jailbird a friend did when I was 13- it is the moon and a star.
The other I got at 18 and it is a moon and the star of Ishtar.

yeah I dig the real celtic cross as well.

Odin's (Othin's) cross is cool (as shown in oneluta's avatar) but I don't dig what it has come to represent nowadays.

Many groups that subscribe to a 'racial purity'/'white pride' philosophy have adopted it as a symbol of their beliefs. I'm not down with that AT ALL.

S.H.A.R.P. is where its at! SkinHeads Against Racial Prejudice... evening the odds one asshole at a time.

I promise I'll grow up one of these days, just not today

^the skinheads i know are very tolerant of different races and hate the neo-nazi skinheads. and they constantly yell at our friend for uttering racial slurs.

They sound Like SHARPS. Nice! SHARPies have always been cool as shit (for the most part).

I'm surprised they haven't done more than yell at your friend. Back in the day we were pretty violent towards the neo-fucks. We'd kick their asses sometimes and sometimes they would kick ours.

On the east coast (in the late '80s) you could tell what type of skin a person was by their laces. SHARPS wore green or blue (sometimes both) Blue laces signified Straight Edge and many SHARPies were straight edge.

I miss those days.

^my friend was also (better) friends with them. he likes to use racial slurs just to get a rise out people, including those guys.

they explained the laces and their various colors to me before, but i never paid much attention. they just were drinking buddies, i never really cared for going to punk shows or the full on history of the skinhead movement.
