Hey everyone, a buddy of mine took an MDXX substance believed to be MDMA about two weeks ago and all her taste buds have fallen off. Her tongue is literally smooth and painful.

Has anyone on here heard of that happening before?

She has had MDMA before and had to issues.

TIA

I am highly doubting your friend was given MDMA, hydrochloric acid sounds more like it...

Cut down on cigarette and drug consumption these fuck with your sense of smell very well. :(

Good luck to your friend, has any improvement happened in the last two weeks?

I'm meeting up with her later today.

Said she took it 2 weeks ago but not sure when her tastebuds fell off. I saw her a couple nights ago but only mentioned it to me this morning via text so I don't know if there has been either an improvement or worsening.

Did say very painful.

Has lost all sense of taste.

I've never heard anything like this before and I've been rolling since 2001.

Is hydrochloric acid really a possibility? I'm naive to the synthesis process

Hydrochloric acid is definitely not a possibility, she wouldn't be alive.

Never heard of it myself mate... got a feeling she's missing a few critical details... or just doesn't know herself. Either way its just speculation unless it was tested, or if she can tell the difference between normal MDMA & whatever she took that night, she may notice 1-2 different things.

Otherwise, this is pretty weird, urban legend kind of thing but it really happened in her case.

never heard of such a thing. is this something you have heard or have you seen it first hand?

sounds like a good excuse to suck her tongue tbph.

Your buddy should see a doctor. It's unlikely that taking MDMA was the root cause of her losing her taste buds, but it could have been a trigger for something else. It seems that there are a variety of conditions that could cause loss of taste buds, including nutritional imbalances and viral infections, and they all warrant medical attention.

Sounds something similiar to the ecstasy ads "ecstasy is made out of battery acid, draino, and made in a filthy toilet"
"Ecstasy makes your taste buds fall off" Then you hear Niel mitchell claiming "its outrageous" and have all the old folk with nothing better to do than call up and discuss it.

Front page material....

I dunno what posesses then to take it in the first place, they must not have the correct upbringing.

Ahh spot on mate, spot on, yeah! we just some big fuckin happy family ay
Well give yourself a round of applause, please..cos i swear we're livin on different planets cos there is no way of communicating with you people,
Who the fuck are you people anyway? ay?
Who the fuck are...Ya?

It has been fucking ages since a post has made me laugh. :D

Where exactly did her taste buds fall to? did she swallow them or did they fall out her mouth onto the ground?

Maybe your buddy shouldn't take this particular MDXX anymore? :)

Byproducts of unpure MDXX could do this to your tastebuds.

Remember that when you take drugs you're unsure if they are unpure, you should only try miniscule amount to test what effects it has on your body e.g. tongue.
