Tar cuts

I have been shooting dope for nearly a decade now and I live in Southern California, so of course almost all that is around is tar. I have always heard the rumors that tar is cut with shoe polish or roofing tar or whatever but I find that hard to believe. I just don't think that somebody would cut dope with either of those things because it seems like that would cut down on their customers, ie: they would be dead.

So, really, what is tar cut with? I am looking for real answers, not somebody once told you their friend's brother new a guy.

I also am curious as to how it is actually done. I mean, with powder it would be easy. Just mix 2 different piles of powder together and boom, ya got cut dope. But with tar, you have to heat it up or at least stir the shit out of it in hot water to get it to dissolve to shoot it, so how do you cut it? It seems like you would almost have to melt it a little and them mix in the cut and then let it cool down and firm up.

So, what is in it and how do they do it? I am not asking because I am going to do it. I am a user, not a dealer. I have no interest in doing this myself, I have just done dope for years and have never been able to get an answer because as most of you know, there is not a lot of good info floating around the junky population on the streets. Those idiots will tell you to shoot somebody with meth or salt water to cure an OD. So that is why I ask these questions of you, knowledgable bluelighters.

I knew somebody who spread a lot of tar on a baking sheet, heated it briefly at low heat, then mixed/kneaded sugar into it.
sad part is, this tar was already cut to shit :(

Sugar? Just regular old sugar? Wouldn't it make the dope a strange texture? There would be little crystals or something in it. And wouldn't the sugar carmelize when heat was added, like if you were going to cook it to shoot it?

Or do you mean powdered sugar or lactose?

But heating in an oven on a baking sheet and then kneading stuff in makes sense.
 
I've heard people dissolve tar, and add the cut to the solution. I guess it'll re- solidify after that.
 
i heard coffee (which is plausable IMo due to the heating etc)
I have also heard donkeys blood, or sheeps blood or something of that nature...that sounds not credible to me

People probably cut it with the same shit they cut it with here in the northeast (#4) B vitamins, caffiene, any powder can be mixed with tar
 
I watched my old hook-up cut it with sugar, the first time I watched him he used regular sugar, but I guess it's more common to use brown sugar. You know the tar has been cut to shit with sugar when it tastes like a burnt cookie once you smoke it.

bulldog, I assume lactose (is that powder as opposed to crystals?) would be better, but I've seen it cut with sugar before. Or done it myself, if someone was being an asshole.
 
The most common cut youll find is brown sugar, wich is very easy to tell if you smoke the shit.
 
hahahahahahahahaha sucks for you guys. Ahhhhhh sometimes i think they only make the 2mg suboxone pills for the southwest! Dont take it to heart, they just dont bother with the 2mgs in #4 country
 
i dont think that dissovles in water, which would make a whole bunch of junkies know it is bd smack.....unless you are referring to my comment, which i wouldnt know cause my dope is always powder and i never have complaints (UNLESS IT DEGRADES INTO MORPHINE)

roofing tar isn't fucking in black tar.... what do you think will happen when you try to dissolve that in water and draw it up in a syringe??

all in all, sugar is the only cut ive ever used

Yeah, you're so lucky...wish my habit warranted 8+mg's of buprenorphine daily 8)
 
What I've heard about cuts from my dealer (in Northern California- the dope is basically the same, but more cut by the time it gets up here from down there)- Milk powder, coffee, brown sugar.
